@PinkieWinkie: It crosses my Mind the developers downgraded the game because the system couldn't handle the lighting, textures, shadows, models, etc and keep a good frame rate.
Has nothing to do with just "changing the time of day." If you put the same scene it is now at the exact time of day it was at E3 2013 you would NOT magically get that E3 2013 demo.

well it's just more of gamers being more aware of what "Next-Gen" is capable of IE: What many of us were saying before Next Gen happened.
Graphics wouldn't change much, but the Resolution and Framerate will be better and so far that's exactly what we've been given.

That being said, yes, that is quite a downgrade, especially the lighting. Never mind they changes the time of day for those cut scenes, the lighting behaves entirely different in those screenshots. Sad indeed.
Then again, the game still does look great while running. Looking forward to playing it nonetheless.
I think we can see that the time of the day is different and perhaps that is for a different mood with different light angles. Even if it did get downgraded, it still looks top notch no?

I remember killzone having a company mock up an entire fake video for E3, halo (i think it was 3?) did the same thing for its launch announcement trailer. Its the new norm in today's videogame marketplace.

No pre-rendered cut sceen BS to hide behind.
This is Ryse, a 900p resolution, small closed area game with lots of pre-rendered cutscenes, quick time events and a frame rate that drops to 14fps.
and this is Infamous Second Son, 1080p large open sanbox world game with real world permanent real time destruction and amazing particle effects.
The lighting seems different. Is there a day/night cycle in this game?

Ahh. Yeah, that would be a bum deal then. The textures seem more or less the same but the lighting definitely took a hit and possibly a few lines of res/AA change.
Pretty obvious downgrade, but only the fanboys will be surprised by it i'd imagine.

I posted a video fool, stop reaching. There is no downgrade to be seen in the game when it's actually in front of you being plaed. These screens are obviously tampered with.
I mean Infamous Second Son is a 1080p game and as crisp as a fresh baked apple pie so why are all the TC's alternate screens so blurry looking? It doesn't add up when none of the other pictures resemble the actual game, looking at other pictures, video *I posted* or any gifs of the actual gameplay.
Stop acting like a dumbass just because Infamous Second Son isn't available on your PC or xbox360. The pic I posted of Infamous is NEW and looks nothing like the alternate pics the TC post but rather like the originals.

I guess next generation bullshots remain. I admit devs should stop doing this. But if the game still looks like that gif then I'm more than fine with it. It think by now it's probably to take any game that's shown at E3 or similar events with salty side dishes.
