I played the demo and thought it was at least AA quality, oh well, to each their own I guess. I would like to try Tales of Vesperia though, sounds good.

Because Tales of vesperia is just FF7 with cel shading, I mean, what for having the same gameplay. Oh wait....
I never really fancied it from the first video i saw. Im getting TOV though as im a huge fan of the series. Maybe if im bored and IU goes cheap il try it.

It is hard to describe how disappointed I was, and how much I hate, FF12. So much so that I am not really looking forward to 13 and it was one of the few ps2 RPG's I traded in.
Rogue Galaxy is real time combat done right in a JRPG.

True, but there wasn't a pause in between every hit like you find in almost all action rpgs.
Well, it's still good even if it wasn't what some of us expected. It will be interesting to see what GS scores the game. Either way, I'll be getting it eventually. So many games that I want already that it might take me a while though...
That's a meh but good score for a JRPG :? I was expecting Tales to be better than this game btw.
But it'll most likely be a good JRPG like any other in my opinion.

7.0 is the average score for less mainstream JRPG titles that don't have Final Fantasy in the name. I think we've been seeing that trend less lately, but the lingering phenomenon of underscoring better JRPGs is still around.

That review is really flawed. Not the score itself but just the way it's written. First of all, he left out alot of important features like item creation, max level, bonus dungeons. Then he complains about the games length when in fact it's longer then ES wich got a higher score and that the sidequests are too many and boring. I bet he didn't even finish them wich we, the gamers, would def do in a jrpg. Then he says the combat is fun and the game doesn't get boring and the story is very good and that the graphics are average but still very pleasing. Then it gets a 7.1. I don't know about you guys but I think they should have made a score comparison between TOV, ES and IU. It's easy to notice that the review was rushed.
I just hope that the gamespot review have more info about the game (not that they should give it a higher score, which I ofcourse hope it will earn)

Yeah, I know how you feel. So many great games coming out, even if I had all the money in the world, I probably wouldn't have enough time to play them all by the end of the generation. That's why I'm probably going to skip next generation and just going to explore this gen for a while. Of course that might change once I see more of the next gen, but it is seeming more and more likely, with so many great games that I want to get. Even some of the games that don't score too high seem really interesting to me. This is both a great time and a bad time to be a gamer. :P
I think that (like another recent 360 title) they overpromised adn undelivered. They kept expectations sky high with talk of "10 years worth of ideas" and such

I know how you guys feel. There are so many games that look great coming in the next few months. But I going to try to limit to only getting PoP, Persona 4, Castlevania: OoE, and Spore.
