@Heartagram_03: True, but you can't always predict when they'll happen.

I admit that renting is actually something i wish PC games could be allowed to do.
However, there's an easy workaround.
Pirate the game you want, then rent the console version. The business still gets your money.
Yeah, technically it's illegal but morally, you're doign nothing wrong, assuming you don't distribute the data. So, not that's not a good point either.
And Diablo 3 point is a rare case. Every first person pespective game is better with K/M, for example, which isn't possible on consoles. PC can use any control scheme, plus you can choose your frame rate, graphical fidelity and resolution.
Actually thats even worse.
Not really. Publishers and studios have themselves to blame.
Code activation was made a long time ago to fight piracy. Latter it translated to online activation. However, we know to this day that these DRM mechanics don't work at all.
Instead, what they do is make it impossible for pc gamers to trade, sell and rent copies out freely, like console gamers.
Therefore, using cracks and torrented games to, in the very least, rent out a game while still paying in other ways, is perfectly fine.
I've done it before, and in fact, has i said many times in the past, i've a pirated, drm free copy of all games that i bought on PC. I don't distribute, but should something happen to Steam offline mode or should i lose my account for whatver reason, i should keep the games i payed money for.
