Exactly, and as I have always said. The first 7 months for each is easily comparable, despite GS scores. The 360 was not leaps and bounds better than the PS3 within it's first 7 months as some try to pretend. What games are good or not is completely subjective anyway. At least outside of the "law according to GS" that is, lol.

But it seems to be the general consensus here that FOR THE MOST PART if you say anything remotely positive about the PS3, then you are a "fanboy cow." But if you praise the 360, while condemning anything and everything that the PS3 has to offer, then you are considered unbiased and fair, lol.

No one said the PS3 didn't have a few good games within the first 7 months. They had 3 (Resistance: FoM, Motorstorm & VF5). Where the PS3 really failed is they had 4 exclusive flops, whereas the 360 didn't. Even long shots like Rockstar Table Tennis scored well.

You are right, and therefore, I agree. But the 360 had some mediocre or poorly (or here considered FLOP) scoring games shortly after launch as well, such as BomberMan and Enchanted Arms. It goes both ways, especially early on in the first few months of a consoles life, which actaully makes this entire arguement a moot point. But nobody seems to want to offer the PS3 that same courtesy and benefit of the doubt around here, in that ALL consoles struggle in the first few months to pump out the good software.....even the 360 did.

Anyway, as far as how the game situation with the PS3 looks now though, I am not too concerned about it, lol. Sales and GS scores I could care less about.

Bomberman was the biggest flop on the 360. Can't agree more on that one. Most gamers care about the scores & sales. Developer care more about sales then the rating of the game. My main concern with the PS3 right now is the price and the delays of key games. We all know that the system will eventually get some good games, but we don't know if Sony will actually drop the price of the system this year or not. Analyst have predicted it would happen, but is Sony ready to lose even more $$$? Only time will tell.

Yeah but this thread is based on SOOOOOOOOOOOO many people in SW who claim the 360 has no good games before Gears. So you coming in here defending the PS3 now is kind of crazy because this is not about bashing the PS3 AT ALL. This is about respecting the fact that the 360 has good games which many people won't admit cause they love to just blindly say " no they all sucked before Gears" I mean the only reason they admit gears is good is because it's a 4 Million plus selling game with a huge score and it is a well respected game both gameplay wise and graphically etc...

The 360 is leagues ahead of the PS3 in software variety and quality when you include XBLA which for some reason most cows ignore. It doesn't matter if they are both launch titles.  Resistance still came out a year later than Perfect Dark Zero did.

In my opinion it took a year for the 360 to get its first killer app which was Gears of War, and in my view PS3 hasn't got its first killer app.

The first "good" game I played on the 360 was GRAW. Man, that was fun. Not as good as R6 (highly underrated game people).
