They didn't go into this gen as being the underdogs, but currently they seem to be that way now. Sony's theory was that everyone loved Sony and their Playstation consoles and no matter what they charged people would still lineup for miles to buy it. The PS1 & PS2 was so hugely successful, that Sony believed there was no chance of failure. Their egos got the better of them I think. EA has this same mental, which is why some of their popular franchises aren't doing as well.

bias is irrrelevant the simple fact is that the ps3 at the same point in time lacks the game quality xbox 360 has - enuf said  this thread is too long so give it up cows (most of whom seem to hail from europe) the facts are irrefutable

Actually, I supported the Halo 3 will not flop threads, and XBL is the best online service for console. Of course I have to get my cheap in every now and then. Also, you just admitted this was a "pro-360" thread. Goes to show Casey 360 fanboyism.

As I had already mentioned earlier, this thread was aimed at the ignorant fanboys claiming that the 360 had no goodgames before Gears, when that is blatantly false according to SW rules. If you areclaiming the 360 has no good games before gearsthan you would have to admit the PS3 has no good games. Conversely, if you areclaiming thePS3 has good games, then you must be willing to admit the360 has good games. And this works for the PS3 too.
