[QUOTE="gingerdivid"][QUOTE="FrozenLiquid"] [QUOTE="gingerdivid"]The worse thing is, I have yet to visit the U.S. Although I have been to many places in Europe, Switzerland (the alps and bern), Germany (Berlin) (how did they beat us 2-1 in football again :?), France (Paris) and Spain (Barcelona). Thoughts on Paris?
From an outsider, I thought it was the most beautiful city I've ever been to.
My British friends however thought the place was a sh*thole. Could be their deep resentment for everything French but yeah, they didn't like it.
They said Rome was better. And Rome...... Rome....
Could be their deep resentment for everything French.Oh, definitely. Us and the French have never got along, historically we have almost always been at war. The battle of Trafalgar, 100 years war (one of the battles in this particular war was one of the finest victories in British military history, Agincourt). That's barely touching the surface.
I find the french very unwelcoming and I am sure we are the same. Although, Paris is a wonderful city and even I (a very patriotic man) can concede that it's better than London :(
Paris has wonderful parks and it's layout is amazing, probably the best city I have been to aswell.
And the women? Please don't stereotype them ..... :P
Honest, the most beautiful woman I've ever seen with my two eyes was watching a street performer near the London Eye. My God she was amazing, but it was the city of Paris that had beautiful women everywhere I looked. Not even Australia could hold a candle to that mega-babe place lol.
Mind you that was Paris only. It became few and far between as we moved up West to Normandy.
Wow...that's it, I'm definately going to visit France next summer.
I mean, based on your high standards for women in relation to what you just posted; I can just imagine:lol:
