Kinect 1 million sold in a week and a half.

Wonder if this includes the thousands they have given away in launch promotions....

Gamespot is calling it a sucess, oh noes, I guess if it sold 10 million in a week people would have something negative to say about it so cant really take it all seriously.

Ok so now on System Wars each $29 Move Nav controller = a $150 Kinect. Each $49 Move ball on a stick = a $150 Kinect, and I can only guess Sony counts each PS3 eye sale as a Move sale, so every $39 PS3 Eye also = a $150 Kinect. That's in addition to every $99 Starter pack = $150 Kinect. Which is the only thing that does make sense for comparisons.

What is Sony actually counting when it throws out it's Move numbers? Since they have never said, I can only guess everything that has to do with Move with the exception of games is counted as a Move sale then?

The positive word of mouth has already begun to spread about Kinect and it looks like motion controls are the future for all of the consoles. From reading all the posts in SW I thought Kinect was going to be a huge failure and let down from MS but after reading many positive impressions I decided to try it and not only does it work but its fun. The initial sales accounted for every pre-order since the Kinect was announced. Week one is by far the largest single week for sales for a product with $500 million marketing behind it, and it's all downhill from here. I'm sure you understand that.

I picked one up and my family and i are having alot of fun with it.Yea id like to see some more hardcore type games come out for it but i am having fun with kinect sports,adventures and joy ride.I enjoy all types of games and i have to say that kinect really is alot of fun,especially when u have some family or friends to play with.
