He is saying that he enjoys GoW more than GEoW as far as I can tell. Showing that an 11 hour game with no online or co-op can be better in some peoples views than one with online and co op.

I can care less about online that you guys payin for..also most action games is around that length 10 to 12 hours..but if anybody wants a longer game then you have to turn to rpgs.and plus the devlopers said u will have to keep playin the game to get certain medals. and unlocked other stuff..so it can be a longer game.

all about preference.

way i see it some ppl havent adjusted to online gaming since some ppl just had a ps2(example) and some prefer single over multi. i had a friend who use to bash pc games and was a console whore. When he FINALLY decided to try some of the pc games i recommended he loved them to death. Now he plays games like WoW, war3, CS, and he still enjoys playing consoles games.

I do believe games dont have to be multiplayer to achieve AAA status(just doesnt seem like there are that many out there though). Game i can only think of ATM is Ninja Gaiden/Ninja Gaiden Black.

Not only is the game this short, but the jaggies hurt my eyes.  I mean, Lair has nice backgrounds, but the dragons and soldiers are jaggies heaven.  The soldiers on Rome:Total War on the PC, a game a few years old has better looking soldiers than Lairs "Royal Jaggies Soldiers".

This game is gonna flop, and keep people from buying a PS3.

arent most average games usually 8 hours long these days. this game doesnt really interest me. i think this game is being way  overhyped IMO.

it really depends, IMO.  the on-ground battles look craptacular based on what we've seen.  swoop down and:

a.) walk over the badguys

b.) burn the badguys

c.) bulldoze the bad guys

...and that's all :?  If it doesn't get more robust than that...and that plays a big role as it appears it will...this game will score somewhere around Dynasty Warriors level scoring.  If I had to guess today...based only on what we've seen and what we know, I'd say 7.5-8.4.  No more, unfortunately.

This is ownage to the blind cows who still believe blu ray gives you longer gameplay. It probably does since it has more room but no one is going to invest all their time into a game that lasts forever. Anyways this is just proof the formats at this stage still don't matter.

Requiring 6 people to get them. Can take a long time when you have people that you don't want to play with. It takes away the fun of playing with your friends for the achievements.

Although that is my opinion, they should have left the achievements untampered.

yeah, definatley 6-8 hours depending on what difficulty you were playingit on. you could beat it in one sitting if you wanted to.

I think that the developer said that the game was going to be more linear, to enhance the story telling.

Thats what I thought. This seems pretty average length for flight games so I don't see a problem. Rouge Leader on the GC didn't have multiplayer either and I loved the hell out of that game so I have faith that I'll love this game too.

Regarding online, a lot of people still aren't big on it because of the online communities and the faceless scum that they can attract. I can play any game online and have fun until I hear some lisping jackass yelling "HAHA PWNED ****ING ****ER!!" in a prepubescent voice. Online gaming sans headsets is the only way to go, unless you're playing with friends. XL83
