You sound like a sour grapes right now. Even trying to downgrade ME2. Just cuz your favorite game of all time got low score in IGN.

The score is not surprising and does not bother me, but the reviewer really sounded like he needed to lighten up a bit as far as the game being immature. I mean, did he expect that to be changed? Sure, the humor is over the top and as juvenile as it gets, but I am not too good to sit down and have a good time laughing at the immature, cheesy humor and vulgarity that I would have found funny as a teenager. Complaining about the technical flaws, dated look and bad design is understandable, but the rest of the review had sort of a snobbish tone about it.

Anyone who thought the game looked good was just blinded by nostalgia and hype. It looked sooooo dated, im sure it woulda been a 7.5 in 2006. The game is exactly what happened to it, someone gave up on it after so many years, another company took it up and just quickly finished it off to sell it.

Sure i have only played the demo of it but still i feel 5.5 is to high. I give this game around 3/10, just just by the demo:P

The only thing that really bugs me is reviews that people give a negative mark for duke being duke.

people shouldnt take review scores so seriously but it is a little messed up

infamous 2 got a 7.5 but im playing it and it feels way higher then that.....i mean it's whatever you make it

Who didn't see this failure actually being a failure? It's a 90s video game character with no personality with the same haircut that Jim Carrey had on Me, Myself, and Irene.

The graphics are terrible, the shooting is bad(LOL BAD AIMING DOWN THE SIGHTS, COME ON 2011 developers), and what's up with the weapons? From the videos I saw, guy doesn't have any type of modern weapons? I guess this game has been completed so long ago they didn't know of a M4 Carbine.

LOL do you mean the buzzcut (a haircut older than the hills)???? Also the weapons are meant to be over the top or something similar to what was in the original game. It's not trying to mimick a modern FPS shooter. The original did not and neither is this.

Also just an FYI, the M4 Carbine has been around longer than when it was shown on CoD. It's been around since almost when the first Doom came out (1994), well before Duke Nukem 3D was in stores (1996).

The only thing that really bugs me is reviews that people give a negative mark for duke being duke.

Exactly, man. I have no doubt that the game itself is a mess, but complaining about Duke being Duke? What did he expect? Sure, Duke is indeed a relic who's time is long passed, but this game is simply a throwback and a fan service at the same time. Nothing wrong with a little nostalgia and immature humor here and there. I think this game can be appreciated for that if you go in with the right mindset, knowing full well that it is going to be extremely dated and flawed.

I'm still gonna buy it, sorry but reviews are a matter of someones crappy opinion on how THEY thought the game was.

I find it pretty sad on how people see a mediocre score for a game and they decide well it must be a bad game, following that rule of thumb if I told you to stick a badger down your pants you should do it.

I have never played a Duke Nukem game before but from the videos,it looks like a fun game.

Too bad its a flop.

Never played a Duke Nukem game, so this didn't look good to me from the beginning. I'm sure it will find a loving home somewhere, though.

The demo played like absolutely no effort was put into the game. The company knew how many mindless fanboys would buy it anyway, so obviously they didn't care

Oh I see, he got butt-hurt on the Halo part. No surprise, I've always thought hardcore Halo fanboys are the equivalent of FOR THE HORDE WoW kiddies for the Xbox 360.
