Hey your lucky you got the game :( haha. Anyways can you tell me about the specialized classes? Do they give you two choices in game and it tells you which specialized class does? ThanksCornerstore
No to the first, there's far more than two. Yes to the second, however. There's a class available for everyone. For me, it's the good ol' Earthborn Soldier.

Ok well when you do choose the specialized class, does it tell you what it does so you dont have to pick a random one and mess it up? And when and how do you get these specialized classes?7 hours in, this is shaping up to be the best game Ive ever played. Cows, Hermits, Sheep, go get a 360 and mass effect.kevy619
Can you just go to planets and goof around and explore forever if you want. Or does it make you follow a strick path on each planet?
Meaning is it like total freeroam like Oblivion?

And when and how do you get these specialized classes?Yes, RIGHT at the start. It gives you the choice to pick your class, and tells you what each class does in detail before the game starts. But, if you don't want to mess with that, you can play as the Shephard that is always shown in the trailers and pics of the game, who is a healthy balance between everything.

music to my ears.
It's terrific. I cannot believe how immersive the story alone is. Bioware outdid themselves in EVERY department. Best $60 I ever spent.Verge_6
steak to my stomach.

word on the street is that this one is Godly.

You should play KoTOR. It'll probably be a mirror image in many respects. It'll also probably tell you if you'll like this game (I'm sure it doesn't stray far from their style of game)

Yea any word on this?At the start, you cant go everywhere although you can choose between a few different places. It seems as though completing quests will reward you with coordinates for other planets.
You shouldn't buy a 360 for this game. Now that EA bought BioWare there's a 100.1% chance of it coming to PC.
The only problem would be if they had an exclusive deal for the 360 and Microsoft doesn't want it on PC for some time. If it's been a year and you hear no news about a PC version, then getting a 360 by then is not a bad idea !

So there are a finite number of planets then? And what exactly can you do onand how big are the "sidequest" planets? God I wish I had an early version of this ....Another question Verge :P. Does the game have alot of replayability? And would i like the game if the only thing in kotor i didnt like was the combat, becuase you didnt get to shoot by your self, you just set the moves your gunna do and he shoots and does things for himself. Cornerstore
Do to the sheer number of quests and multiple endings, there should be mor erplayability in this game than any released recently. As for combat, think GRAW, sans modern weapons and Mexican rebels.
[QUOTE="Zero5000X"]i might just wait for the PS3 version.Verge_6
There IS no PS3 version, and there never will be. MS owns the rights to the first ME.
No, BioWare owns the rights to Mass Effect and EA will own them as of January. EA or Sony could just publish the PS3 version. you know how EA is, they love multiplats.
I don't need to play the game to know this one.[QUOTE="Cornerstore"]Another question Verge :P. Does the game have alot of replayability? Forza_2
Hell yes.
The replayability is through the roof, according to reviews. The character customization ALONE guarantees massive replayability, I have absolutely no doubt about that.

God I wish I had an early version of this ....Honestly, you never know what the planet will be until you get there. For example, one planet I went to was just a desert that some troops were tricked into going to. You find them all dead, and suddenly you are attacked by a sand worm thingy. On this level, you are using a vehicle. Ive also noticed many planets I cant land on because of the atmosphere.

If you played KoTOR and found there was replay value in creating different classes with different abilities and all that, you'll find the same here.
Personally, I haven't played this game but I'll still suggest playing KoTOR. If you like it, you like Bioware's style...and you'll undoubtedly love this game.
So has it been established that Game Informer saying, about Mass Effect, that:
[quote="Game Informer"]Not since Star Wars made its theatrical debut in 1977 has there been a universe so full of wonder and awe.Zeliard9
is NOT, in fact, an exaggeration at all?
This statement is indeed a factual one.
Im serious for those of you who will attempt to wait for the PC version... dont. This is the type of game that you shouldnt deprive yourselves from. Ask your mommies and daddies for a 360 for Christmas, and get MASS EFFECT.VividScientific
Mass Effect is the main and #1 reason I bought a 360 last december. I have a feeling I won't regret it. Actually, I don't regret the purchase at all, regardless. There have been some pretty damn decent games on the 360.
