Okay, let me put it like this even if someone brought this to me in real life just like here I'd still discount it.

Look, we all know that, logically speaking, a game that is available on the PC and the 360 cannot be considered an "exclusive".

However, be that as it may, we should still consider the ramifications of games that are in that position not being on other platforms like PS3 or Wii.

Yes, by SW rules, games like ME and GeoW cannot be used as exclusives; but, simply looking at it from a logical real world standpoint, these games not being on PS3 is meaningful when examining the war between the 360 and PS3 specifically.

With that as the case, I see no reason why the ME trilogy not going to PS3 cannot be claimed as ownage, and, as such, I hereby claim said ownage.

By the way both the ps3 and 360 console will be out date this year by the pc once the new hard ware comes. The pc graphics is already there

I honestly doubt it, The 360 is already in the middle of its lifespan and Mass Effect 2 has yet to be even announced. The third game has to be on the next Xbox.

If Microsoft keeps the 360 around to 2011/2012 is definitely possible. Mass Effect 2 will come in 2009.

I fail to see why the operating system on the PC matters at all. The fact of the matter is, you own a PC, you choose not to upgrade it or play games on it. That's fine. It's your choice whether you want to spend the money necessary to make it capable of playing the latest games - just like it's a choice whether you want to put down the cash to buy a 360 or a PS3.

But no, upgrading your PC does not help Xbox 360. If you spend lots of money on Microsoft software products, I suppose you could say you are helping the company. Buying a PSP or PS2 is also 'helping' out Sony. Last I heard, Sony is not competing with Microsoft in the PC operating system business.

Really, it all comes down to what products YOU want. If there's a SCEA game announced to come out for PS3 in the future that sounds great, gets high metacritic reviews, whatever - say God of War 3 - there's only one place you'll be able to play it, PS3. You don't buy the PS3, you miss out on the experience. But if there's a game coming out published by Microsoft Games Studios, there's a good chance it could end up on PC. That's ownage in the sense that a consumer could avoid the 360 altogether if he wanted to. And the advantage of his investment in the PC would be potentially better graphics, controller input, mods, etc. That person would be opting to wait to get what he perceives to be the ultimate experience playing the game.

They care what has better games PS3 of 360, its not like they are going to say "I heard Gears is on PC it dosent count" There are tons of people who dont have gaming PCs and never will. I have been a console gamer for 20 years. I have yet to really want a gaming Pc.

I have never thought the PC was not more powerful. The 360 and Ps3 ARE dated. I bought a top of the line hd tv 6 months ago and it is dated. Technology moves fast and a console compared to PC is dated in a years time if that. That said, some people game on consoles only, I have owned every console for the last 20 years and no gaming pc.

People have used both "PC is so different" and "PC is MS platform too" arguments, so which is it? Those are pretty much two opposite view points so it sounds to me like lemmings are just desperately clinging onto anything that would give them more exclusives. There is not a single reasonable argument that makes a game on 2 platforms an exclusive, it's like trying to say a triangle is a circle when compared to a square. Anyone backing this "console exclusive" PR talk fails at logic.mr_mozilla

Thats not always the case, for me it is games that my ps3 dosent offer, so if I didnt have a 360 I wouldnt be able to play them. I dont know why people dont get that.

The title of the thread is making this a circus. I should have said PS3 not getting Mass Effect trilogy. I don't really care if PC is getting it or not that wasn't the point... that being said do you know how to edit topic titles?
