What's more hilarious about this is that the 3DS outsold all 4 of Sony's products combined.

Really couldn't have said it better. It would take Nintendo a ton of money to keep Monster Hunter an exclusive when Capcom could probably very cheaply port over a Monster Hunter to the Vita and make a ton of money.

Ofcourse the Vita will pick up in sales in a few months, maybe even less, But Sony is going have to do a few things if they plan on making profit ever again.

For all the Sony cheerleaders saying just wait till it is launched in NA. Launching a console 2 months after the holiday season is a pure stupid idea. Most families just either bought or received the electronics they want, spent most of their savings on gifts, or are busy paying off gifts they bought earlier. To make it worse Japan is where handhelds do best and America is in general more interested phones, ipad, ect. The very best case scenario for Sony is there is a decent launch sales wise and then sales drop like a rock. I doubt it will even have a decent launch though.CanYouDiglt

Not to mention that the Vita is launching in the states on the same month that the iPad 3 is releasing there. Most people are going to go for the iPad 3, not Vita. This will be very disastrous for Sony.

I'd rather wait until we at least see some screenshots... Of course it will definitely release on the PS3, but I think the Vita version will depend on how well the console itself sells.

I think you may need to reevaluate your demographic on who exactly would be buying a iPad 3 and who would buy a Vita, just saying.

Grain of salt really. The other platforms have a far greater userbase. The PS Vita is new, these are launch games, so really the sales figures could never go higher than the number of consoles sold. Since the others have more, then if makes sense.mike_on_mic

Kirby games traditionally sell 4x their opening week lifetime in Japan. Its not Mario but its bigger than Zelda in Japan by far.
