MGS Delayed

Yep, one of the most highly-regarded game developers in history.

I think they know that the summer isn't a great time to sell a game. So I think the game will come out early in Q2. There not stupid. I'd rather a game be delayed for improvements rather than a game be pushed and be completely crappy. EA games ring a bell. Besides I think there trying to make a great Exclusive.

Of course some 360 fanboy is going to say its not exclusive. But if its not than I think they won't get to play it for at least another year. It'd take alot of work putting all that info onmultiple discs. Plus alot of developers that try to port games to another nextgen system haveproblems. So 360 version would most likelybea watered down version.

When PS3 needs big name games BADLY one their biggest named games gets delayed yet again. This is not even the first time MGS has been delayed. This will I am sure have some effect on sales.

Yeah because other consoles NEVER delay their best games. (Twilight Princess on gamecube? Smash Bros on Wii? Yeah that wasn't delayed or anything. Halo 3 took TWO years into the 360's life to come out.)

You may have noticed all the other games that weren't delayed. Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted.

Yeah and Halo 3 wasn't delayed either. Bungie announced Halo's release date like a year before it came out, and it didn't get delayed once (though it should of to fix a few of it problems).

Yeah that really sucks.... but its not the only one that was delayed, so was Resident Evil 5, which is gonna be wicked sick, but not until 2009.

Hopefully it comes out when people have holidays.

My only concern is that it releases 1/2 week/s before or after GTAIV. I want both games on day 1 but don't wanna rush either.

When it was first announced at the Tokyo Game Show it was supposed to be a launch title.

According to IGN MGS4 has been pushed back to Q2 2008. Was looking forward to seeing how it did when it came out. Oh well least its still scheduled for 2008.Burnsmiesta

If anyone is surprised, they don't know videogames. Many big titles are delayed, such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl recently.

Just amazing. PS3 still does not have a huge game to compete againsta Halo3 or Gears and one of the few comming to PS3 gets delayed yet again. Heck even Orange box was delayed on PS3 and not even done by Valve. No wonder PS3 has not even sold 1/2 of what 360 has sold.

"It won't come out in the summer!" Umm...Q2 is not the summer time. Its spring.

"It won't sell unless released in the fall!" MGS won't sell? You could release it in a made up month on a made up day and it would sell huge.
