But back to the topic at hand. The rumors persist because there hasn't been irrefutable proof to the contrary. Sure, there has been Kojima's word, but there's always B teams (ask Itagaki). There's Sony sponsorship, but like with TV shows, product placements can be altered. What we haven't seen is an outright "never" from publisher Konami or a display of the exclusivity agreement by Sony.

There's no way MGS4 would go to 360. It simply won't fit on a DVD. And even if they do multi-disc version, they would need 6 DVD's as the game is 48 GB's of memory. And besides the harware issue, Hideo Kojima is friends with Kaz Harai, so I wouldn't keep my hopes up.Rafinator

MGS 4 is relative small compared to games like Lost Odyssey that takes 4 discs, and has about 20-30 hours of cutscenes.

hopefully this version wont suffer low res textures spoiling the look of the game..

Cutscenes isnt what takes up the space. Its mostly sound and graphical quality. Also content, extra content, online, secrets and eastereggs and other stuff like that.

I'm not sure, I was just giving an idea, they might not have that in the 360 version. I personally don't care if MGS 4 goes to the 360, I got it on my PS3 and already beaten it.

I don't think that they will actually be making this game for the xbox 360 because you would have to use 2 or more discs just to play the entire game. This is just a rumor people!!!!artb678

At this point and generation, any game could end up on any platform. If you're not ok with that then you've got some serious mental issues. First of all, why should you be ok with that in the first place? Your opinion means absolutely nothing! You can go and cry in your corner for all the developers care. It's not your decision whether or not MGS4 should go multiplaform, fanboys (through some psychological technique I don't even want to learn about) actually make themselves believe that they're right just because they've been gaming for some time, own the latest console and.... well I've said enough about those mysterious creatures. If you've played the game and enjoyed it you should be happy. If this game is about to appear on anothe console then you should be happy that others will be as happy as you when they play the game, you shouldn't ''refuse'' the fact that the game will be ported. In fact what good will it do if you ''don't give your approval''? Sorry to burst your bubbles kids but nobody cares what you think about that, and that's the truth.... with some cheese on it.

Konami might not want to confirm it this year since they've launched it on the PS3 in June. Instead I think it's even clear to a donkey that they're teasing us with it right now and would most possibly confirm it next year. Why else would they still be talking about it :? ? If there was truly no MGS4 for the 360 then Konami wouldn't even have bothered replying to the story. I played MGS4 on my cousin's PS3 and absolutely loved it. Unfortunetly I'm getting a Xbox 360 only and not a PS3, so I'd really like it if it gets ported so that I could own it and enjoy it again.

Well if they played/owned/beat the original why would they even bother since they would have the ''superior'' version.

i think they could put this game on just two discs. one for all the cut-scenes one for the gameplay.

every time a cut scene comes up you have to switch discs then switch back afterwards.
