MGS4 was downgraded so was the engine.

i'll just say that MGSIV is an amazing game.... best i've played this generation (so far)....

If downgrading a game results in MGSIV's quality then i kindly ask all devs to make downgrades on their upcoming projects :)

It doesn't but the color pallete has changed too much too look at E3 2006 trailer. I still think MGS4 will be GOTY 2008 and its one of my favorite games but I think it was wrong for Kojima Productions to say the E3 2006 trailer was "real time" on PS3 hardware when it was not. More like dual 7800 cards or 7900 cards.
