[QUOTE="Anjunaddict"][QUOTE="deangallop"] If they don't have a good show next year, one with new IP's and games not created for children and family gamers, MS might as well wave the white flag and call it quits. Gears, Halo, Fable, and crackdown is probably enough for me during 2010- early 2011, but I'm getting tired of the brand milkage, I partially blame gamers ( If you have a 360 go out and buy Alan Wake;) jyoung312
Well ive been trying to work it out.
We saw nothing from 343 Industries this E3, so Im guess we will see something from them at the latest next E3 (It will be Halo something)
We saw Fable from Lionhead, but nothing in terms of Kinect. Wheres Milo? :P Or that other unannounced Kinect game Peter was talking about.
Rare only provided us with Kinect Sports. Rare is a huge developer, so they have to be working on other things, it doesn't take 300 people to make a motion sports game and avatars.
BigPark is busy on Joyride.
Turn 10 busy on Forza Kinect (I really hope theyre working on PGR5 too)
What are Spawnpoint making? Arent they supposed to be solely Kinect developers, yet we saw nothing from them? (Unless they are the developers behind Kinect adventures)
And Firebird. We've seen nothing from them.
Yikes. MS needs more developers stat as 3rd parties aren't sticking around. Epic outside of Gears is multiplatform (Bulletstorm, UT), Bioware is multiplatform, Bungie is now independent and multiplat after Reach, and Valve is going to start supporting PS3. that doesn't bode well for the future. I hope for xbox gamers that MS starts building first party and puts them to good use and doesn't kill them (RARE what have you become?) Well they are making something with Crytek, and they're working with Remedy at the minute. But I completely agree, this E3 has really opened my eyes in terms of Microsofts 1st party offerings. They really need to start building some more studios that cater to the hardcore, and not the Kinect audiences.
