There is not one area I can think of where the devs having been lazy with this game, they are pulling all the stops. Capcom, Namco take note. This is how you do a story mode.

Story Mode is played like MK vs DC's story mode, you play with every character according to the games Story w/ cutscenes/movies.

Arcade Mode is the original way of playing the ladder fights til you get to shao khan then get the character endings.

OH YES! That would be a kick ass opening to MK9 ! The text needs to stand out more though seeing as MK9 is going to be the best iteration in the series, movies and comic and all.

MK9 definitely has a great fighter line-up, looking really impressive. And I personally don't mind Raiden's design but I haven't played MK vs DC so I feel it's a nice update to a fan fav outfit and Im sure there will be alternate attire as well.

Regarding Kratos the character must be unlocked and will not show on the character select screen but in the DLC corner I believe. Also Kratos doesn't like you either :P His one bad ass dude, and as far as Im concerned it's a match made in heaven. Kratos was born to be in MK, that's why in the end of GOW3 he was dragging himself into the netherworld.

I could understand death stalker for scorp but wth is helado?

I downloaded the demo today, and as one of the main detractors of the MK franchise, i have to say, i was pretty impressed with it, it really feels like the old MK games, i mean, i didn't like 3 that much, 4 was ok and from there it all went downhill, but i really liked 2 and this one feels like 2, you know, no running and no weapons, the combos seem as deep as any other fighter outhere, but one thing i didn't like it, was that super X-Ray move, too much damage for just pressing both triggers and the animation get's old quickly, however, i was convinced with the demo, besides the roster is pretty good.

Honestly, i liked it, if the online works fine, i might get this instead of MvC3...who would have guess.
