i dare you..... ease of use is the only and cost less(for hardware) positive for consoles

1) Standardization across hardware 2) All my friends are on one online service 3) Cheaper upfront 4) Retail support is easier (matters to me, since I am not always assured of online connectivity) 5) In case my system stops working, identifying the error is swift and after service support is really easy Please note that I am not slagging off on PC gaming. I am just answering the question asked.charizard1605
but all of your friends on one service is not a plus for consoles in genral, most of my friends all play on pc

all gaming is nerdy... try again
Gaming is losing its nerdy tone.plu in and play is the same as ease of use full controller supprt?
sami117
Not really, plug and play means exactly that, you plug in and can play instantly. Ease of use comes from things such as standardized UI, made incredibly simplistic for more ease of use. Plug in and play isn't even remotely akin to full controller support :? Games have full controller support, which PC doesn't offer.

Gaming is losing its nerdy tone.but if you go up to talk to some girl and your only hobby is gaming regardless of system thats nerdy (and nerdy is not a bad thing)

But the list of stuff the pc does better is endless.
sami117
Soooooo? PC is inherently a far more open platform. That should be obvious :?
graphics, power , online in genral, steam sales, ect ect ect
I didn't ask you to name them :? I said it should be obvious it does things better as it's an open platform.

im not talking games(although pc would win in that discussion too)
Not likely. PC can't win when I say that consoles do specific game franchises better. The fact they don't exist on PC automatically means the console does it better.

You're comparing apples and oranges there, pal. I didn't say console exclusives were better. I said the fact they are not on PC means consoles do it better.

So,by playing on a console you think the society doesn´t see you as a nerd as well?
It´s sad to see gamers saying stuff like this tbh.
Not if you are saying I play CoD :D.
Well, considering the style of games you play, you also fall into that nerd category. If you mostly just played CoD and Madden then that would be a different story. ;)Lower Cost at First.NeonNinja

Portal 2. You get the ps3 verison and the PC version. That's right, a multiplat valve game better on a console.
But the PC version was 10 bucks cheaper on release. So you'd be paying 10 bucks more...to also get a PS3 version.
This is doable.
1. Split Screen
2. JRPGs
3. Cheaper down payment
4. No anti-piracy measures like DDR (must be online to play games)
5. Standard hardware (so games can be optimized)
Local multiplayer, nuff said. Yes, you can go LAN on the PC, but nothing beats the feeling of trash talking friends playing in the same room together.hiphops_saviorBut I do that with Fifa on the PC as well...and with PES as well,it´s exactly the same thing for those games.
There´s a ton of PC games with split screen, contary to popular belief.
