1. Privilege of Being Charged to Play Online. 2. Consoles can drastically change their direction plans. One day it can be a hardcore box, the next, a casual box. First Party controls where everything goes, they own the console. (On PC, for change to happen, it would take the approval of a majority and/or good sized amount of gamers.) 3. More Expensive Games. 4. Cheaper Hardware but More Expensive Everything Else (Accessories, etc.).

but all of your friends on one service is not a plus for consoles in genral, most of my friends all play on pc

Not really, plug and play means exactly that, you plug in and can play instantly. Ease of use comes from things such as standardized UI, made incredibly simplistic for more ease of use. Plug in and play isn't even remotely akin to full controller support :? Games have full controller support, which PC doesn't offer.

Not likely. PC can't win when I say that consoles do specific game franchises better. The fact they don't exist on PC automatically means the console does it better.

You're comparing apples and oranges there, pal. I didn't say console exclusives were better. I said the fact they are not on PC means consoles do it better.
So,by playing on a console you think the society doesn´t see you as a nerd as well?

Well,considering the style of games you play,you also fall into that nerd category. If you mostly just played CoD and Madden then that would be a different story. ;)
1. Plug and Play (Which is debate-able) 2. Easy of use (Again debate-able) 3. Helps hardware not evolve to fast(In a good way) 4. Split Screen, easily(PC can still do it) 5. Exclusives.
Local multiplayer, nuff said. Yes, you can go LAN on the PC, but nothing beats the feeling of trash talking friends playing in the same room together.hiphops_savior
But I do that with Fifa on the PC as well...and with PES as well,it´s exactly the same thing for those games.
There´s a ton of PC games with split screen,contary to popular belief.
