Looks excellent. Wish I could spend $60 on it. So jealous.

Dont ever dare change it. :P
I won't. Until DA3. :P
Uh, the JRPGS on XBLA out number all the retail and PSN exclusive jrpgs. Which system has more Jrpgs again? Also aren''t you the same idiot that said the Xbox only had 6 retail jrpgs?[QUOTE="Aquaunitpatrol"][QUOTE="finalstar2007"]
Only small devs now go for exclusives, its true that you rarely see any 3rd party exclusives but only small ones that prefer them, JRPGs dont sell well on the xbox so they go for the PS3 as the HD console hence the PS3 being the conosle with more JRPGs. NIS is very well known to be more of a playstation developer but their going to release the very first xbox game ever next year, you may see more games from them very soon for both systems

Most games from Japan do...it's because games over there cost like 1/10th of what it costs to make a mainstream game over here.
Most of my favorite games are Japanese tbh. I just know finalstar has some really low standards. :P
[QUOTE="incuensuocha"]Nothing personal Finalstar, but when I see "new PS3 exclusive" in the title of a thread and your name as the TC, I already know before even opening the thread that I'll have zero interest in the game.finalstar2007
Yeah no worries but you didnt have to click it tho, i mean i rarely click on any nintendo announcment or microsoft threads cuz nothing interest me so i think others should do the same :P, anyways most of the stuff i post about are things i like and many dont like what i like which is cool, just something fresh and to show for those interested
Of course nothing interests you, you are the epitome of strange taste. Generic JRPG's and Call of Duty. Actually, wait. I think you just love buying games with the same rehashed formula over and over, instead of trying anything that changes gameplay concepts and invents a new sub-genre.[QUOTE="peterw007"]

Actually its because JRPG makers absolutely refuse to make a game that changes the 20+ year old Final Fantasy turn based formula. Meanwhile, the west makes games that create new sub-genres ( Mass Effect, TPS/RPG hybrid) or that reinvent genres entirely. (Cod 4, Assassin's Creed) JRPG's have not been heavy-hitters outside of Japan for quite some time, with the exception of Final Fantasy.[QUOTE="Wiimotefan"]

"It's" is a contraction for "it is" or "it has", while "its" is a possessive pronoun. The latter makes no sense in your post.

I know there were perks and unlocks in multiplayer, but that's not reinvention, it's progress..... I can't speak for Assassin's Creed though as I haven't played it.

Action-Adventure is too broad of a genre for AC to be re-inventing.[QUOTE="Slashkice"][QUOTE="Wiimotefan"]

Well despite the hate that recent iterations of the Cod franchise get (and rightfully so) cod 4 is generally respected because it brought an RPG-esque system to online multiplayer, and refined the formula that BF2 had introduced. It's influence can be seen in many FPS's since.Enjoy your game then. There is nothing wrong with liking girly small anime men over big burly armored men with axes. Of course, you might not want to come to where I live, the Southern US.Already looks better than the snorefest that is Skyrim.

Not sure why male character showing more skin than female is inappropriate.Never said it was. But you gotta admit, it definitely isn't the norm.

Influential = reinvent Remember when Halo came up with regenerative health and pretty much every game afterwards had it? Well, Cod did the same to the Multiplayer suite. Not sure why male character showing more skin than female is inappropriate.[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="Tikeio"]

Looks interesting lol.
I have to say that some of the artstyles in these recentJapanese games are.. intriguing.
Love my Japan games though. Too bad I don't have a PS3..

Well, Progression of new ideas that are used in most all subsequent creations is generally considered to be a big deal. Like jet engines, would you say that jets reinvented the airplane?[QUOTE="Newhopes"]Enjoy your game then. There is a certain side of Japanese anime/games I do not delve into...
NeonNinja
The transgendered child-molestation side?
Or the tentacle rape?
Both are valid sides of the same coin, my friend.
Don't forget the shows/games with like 20 girls that all look like they're preteens.
Now that's just messed up.
This game is going to kick ass. I love Nippon Ichi. I have played a ton of Disgaea 3 and 4 this gen, and I just got Phantom Brave for Wii. They're great games, actually.

I'm just not sure if I'd compare Call of Duty to reinvention, is all. I think it is a big deal, because its effect on the shooter genre is going really strong. Games not called Halo and Gears of War are trying their best to emulate Call of Duty. And that's a big deal. It shows its influence to be sure. I'm just stuck on the reinvention word. :P
