JRPG's have gone down hill dramatically in character concept, the whole genre needs a reboot

The hell? It's like they try to make the main character looks as gay as possible. Make him wear a normal shirt at least :|

Well western protagonists usually look like a brainless mass of steroids that can only pronounce a few 4-letter insults and people drool over them. I find that kind of disturbing.

i dont know anyone blokes on here who drool over men dude. Ezio / Altair / Natha Drake / Cole Phelps / Cole dude from Infamous / Starkiller / Soap / Captain Price etc All look like braindead steroid heads? other than the gears crew and perhaps kratos i cant think of any others.

Looks cool to me I've always enjoyed their art style but more like the style of ni no kuni now that game looks fantastic has to one of it not the best art style ive seen this gen.

The characters shown for the game aren't sexualized and they aren't pre-teens either. In regards to the main character, I think he looks stupid. But what does it matter if he looks feminine?

Only small devs now go for exclusives, its true that you rarely see any 3rd party exclusives but only small ones that prefer them, JRPGs dont sell well on the xbox so they go for the PS3 as the HD console hence the PS3 being the conosle with more JRPGs. NIS is very well known to be more of a playstation developer but their going to release the very first xbox game ever next year, you may see more games from them very soon for both systems

Well the post you were quoting said that japanese protagonists look like girls like in a general way. I thought you were agreeing with that. People could as easily generalize that western protagonists all look like brainless masses of steroids.

This will come to the states since it is made by the creator of the Disgaea. It does look interesting though not a fan of the character design.

That looks the sort of game you order mail order and ask for discrete billing on your visa bill! Seriously that style of game does not interest me at all, when I clicked the link I was hoping for a new IP that may have been more aimed at the hardcore market. I honestly do not understand the some of theJap peeps interest with these little girls in games. Different strokes for different folks I guess!
