What I dont understand isw why Graw for Xbox 360 is exclusive because the one on the PC has a different camera veiw. This is totally flawed. And Yes Ninja Gaiden Black and Sigma are the same BUT sigma is has added content and upgraded graphicss.Tamarind_Face

Is Riddick for PC with updated graphics and some extra content exclusive to the PC ?

Sure you can play it on an Xbox, but then you could also play it on a PC which, like the PS3, is more powerful than the Xbox.

So if Riddick isn't considered a PC exclusive with its updated graphics and extra content, then how is NGS exclusive to the PS3 if has updated graphics and extra content.

I don't remeber hearing hermits claiming Riddick was exclusiveto PC, now of course they said it was better but never did they say its exclusive.

NGS=NGB, just better but surely not exclusive.

Now if it was a totally different game like GRAW is on 360 compared to the other GRAW's released, I would say thats not exclusive either, but since it is a different game it is more exlusive than NGS would or could be.

First of all neither Sigma nor Black are exclusives.

Now with that being said Sigma is essentially Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox but with extra content, improved camera and minor things like that but the story and the gameplay is the same.

To the people who vote "no" (and this includes a lot of cows), do you consider gears for the 360 and pc 2 different games then? Since the pc version is going to have more enemies to fight against and 5 extra chapters...astiop

Changes from Ninja Gaiden Black

• Graphics have been overhauled to take advantage of the high definition capability of the PS3. This includes additional frames of animation (e.g. new staggering animations for some humanoid enemies).
• Part of one FMV has been replaced with an in-game cutscene
• Changes to some of the original level designs and mission mode missions
  • Rachel's story chapters are inserted in amongst Ryu's
  • Some items have their locations moved
  • This includes the addition and removal of some encounters
  • One boss encounter has been reworked, with minor changes to two others
• Some enemies' specifications (AI, damage, etc) have been changed
• Changes to Ryu's reverse wind technique
• Ryu can now run and fight on water surfaces, as well as shoot arrows in mid-air
• The speargun is now ****fied as a projectile weapon
• Ryu can now use restoration items without going through menus

Additional Features

The following are new additions:

• A new playable character, Rachel, the demon hunter
  • She is playable in only three of her own chapters and 11 missions in Mission Mode (two of which are missions requiring to be unlocked)
  • She can only use the Warhammer, the Peluda Tail, and Blades of Ouroborus as her weapons
  • Whereas Ryu unlocks costumes, she can obtain seven hair**** (besides her default hair****.

• Three new enemies have been added
  • MVATs (MSAT bikers), girtablilu (the mermen), and phantoms (balls of blue flames)
• Two new bosses have been added

• Many more save points and shop locations are added into Story Mode

Removed Features

Contrary to claims of this being the "more complete" version, the following has been removed as compared to Ninja Gaiden Black.

• The opening introductory movie of the legend between the Dragon Sword and the Dark Dragon Blade
• Movie Theater (this means the player will be unable to view the remaining 480p movies outside of Story Mode)
• Some encounters, and many puzzles from Story Mode
• Additional starting weapons on higher difficulties
• Trailing images and light effects from certain power moves
• Two costumes, and Ninja Gaiden Arcade
• The Armlet of Tranquility
• Gobdecks (a fire-breathing dinosaur with spikes), known by some fans as thorn gallas

what does it matter wether they are anti or pro Sony though? The fact of the matter is that Ninja Gaiden Sigma isn't an exclusive.

It's like saying Resident Evil 4 for the wii is exclusive, Guitar Hero 2 for 360 is exclusive, and GTAIV for 360 is exclusive all because of extra content and upgraded visuals (except in the case of GTAIV...we don't know wether there are graphical differences between PS3 and 360).

i played all 3 versions of it. ninja gaiden, ngb, and now sigma. i find it funny when ppl who havent played the game ends up saying its not the same game(not regarding to you but in general).

I find ng, ngb, ngs is to what resident evil 1 (psx) was to resident evil 1 (gc) or how resident evil 4(gc) is to resident evil 4 (ps2).

I thought this issue was already resolved... why are we even debating this anymore... if anything not standing firm on the decision provides the incentive for this to happen with every game that's controversial like this form now on... and seriously the voical minorty in this issue maybe right but seriously if we don't get a decision that will stand, and be Final... then there will be threads about this debating this issue all gen.

Someone really needs to put there foot down and make a final decision whatever it maybe... and end the debate for good.

Sigma is a completely different game built from the ground up on the PS3 with its own unique engine. Then lets factor in all the new weapons, enemies, bosses, items, the parts you play as Rachel, the re done cutscenes. theres no way this game is just a port.

No one said it's a port. It's not. It's a remake. And remakes don't count asentirely seperate games from the original. Look at REmake (the game).

huh? Not sure what your point is here, but obviously, not everyone who votes in this poll is a fanboy(going by the logic you think I use, I would be calling myself a fanboy?). But obviously, the sheeps and lemmings will choose the 1st poll choice, pretty much rendering all other votes obsolete(since their are a lot of lemmings and just ps3 haters in general here).

BTW, I don't think the poll choices make this thread sticky worthy.."Yes, I think they're the same" and "No, It's a PS3 exclusive". NGS and NGB aren't the same, but they aren't different enough to make sigma exclusive. Why is there no poll choice for that belief.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma has the same gameplay and content as Ninja Gaiden Black. Updated graphics and some content Black doesn't have doesn't make Sigma a brand new game. It has the same gameplay and levels as the others, only prettier. That does not make a game exclusive. The game has to be completely new, which Sigma is not.

I own a PS3 and I'm waiting to buy NGS when it hits $40.

Why? Because I have 80% of the game (NGB) sitting on my shelf at home. The NGS demo did nothing but prove to me that it was the same core game.
