Square has said time and time again that it will never do a FFVII remake. I can see a port or something along the lines of OoT. But a full blown 3D remake like people are imagining it? Nah it's not happening.

Well I would trade years of my life for a FF6 or FF7 or hell even a proper ff4 remake, I really wouldn't get my hopes up.

Then agian look at some facts.

- Nintendo rolling in money

- FF games really need a big win with the fans, no better system to launch on then the fastest selling one in Japan

- The world is going to end soon, so gotta be now rather then later :p

Any of the following would be great (is WiiU out of the question?)

1. Paper Mario 3DS news/update
2. Any other great game news, such as Bravely Default
3. new 3DS games (FZero, Zelda, and more)
4. The Last Story coming to NA
5. 3DS price drop (lol like thats gonna happen :P)
6. more details on WiiU

They would have no reason to be so quiet and cryptic about it, though, if that were the case. All they would have to do is say "Hey, we're making a big announcement about the 3DS" and all the press would come running.

If there's one thing I've learned about announcements, it's that they're never as big as they're hyped to be. And Nintendo is barely hyping.

I just can't believe Reggie would send a Swap Note to 3DS users! That was pretty awesome.

People have been anticipating/ begging for a remake of FF7 forever now. If a remake was to be done on the little 3DS instead of the precious PS3, I have a hard time believing there wouldn't be massive complaints and rage. Especially with all the flak Squenix has received lately.

People have been anticipating/ begging for a remake of FF7 forever now. If a remake was to be done on the little 3DS instead of the precious PS3, I have a hard time believing there wouldn't be massive complaints and rage. Especially with all the flak Squenix has received lately.

Oh well, I guess it will be good for 3DS owners then. Personally FF7 is kinda weak to me, but hell. I'll just wait for the announcement.

Well they could just take the models from the PC mods that are used in that screenshot, and just slap on a new coat of textures I guess.

I imagine getting it to look like Crisis Core would entail a reasonable amount of work.

Personally, do not want, unless it's running on the Crystal Tools engine in HD glory.
