This is actually interesting because based on the apparant power of the Wii U it would seem Sony doesn't really need to release new hardware to compete with it on a technical level so this could be a kinda genius move on their part for extending the life of the current console and staying competitive with Wii U in the future.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, the PS4 will be a regular console but many years into the gen at around the time we would expect a new console Sony will launch its cloud gaming service for the PS4 and call it "PSinfinite", PSi for short. Enjoy the news from my crystal ball.

We are not advanced enough to have cloud gaming as a only option. Some ppl may have 20mb some ppl may have 2mb. 2mb ppl will run into problems.

NeverWinter Nights on PC had 3 discs about 10 years ago yet i never had to swap discs.

also, "when Sony starts charging for online next gen.." don't talk of it as it if were true. Nintendo isn't charging for online on Wii U. i don't see Sony charging for online next gen.

And the wii survived with PS2 graphics...good idea everyone should aim for the lowest common denominator. Now that I think about it we don't even need online or HD graphics at all floppy disks would surfice!
