My IQ drops everytime I come into SW. Im wondering if there really are this many stupid lemmings in SW or if its just one fanboy with multiple accounts. Have I read this correctly? People actually think the PS4 is just going to be a stream box? I mean really? I mean lets not use common sense and consider it could be a great oppertunity or Sony to merge its PS suite on to all its devices( which is most likely what it will be used for ) or even cheap backwards compatablity for the PS4. If the PS4 was simply going to be a stream box there would be no need for a PS4 they would simply merge it on the PS3 but Sony knows thats not a viable option. In my opionion they invested a small amount of money on something that could be huge some day.

He wanted people to beleive that cloud gaming was coming on so strong that one of the console makers would leave the race. The fact is its pretty much guranteed the PS4 will be released. Sony buying gaikai doesnt automatically mean the PS4 will be totally cloud based, far too big a risk i could easily see it being used in leue of backwards compatability in cases of the PS2 and the PS3 with their weird as hell architecture and for possibly older games it could be a neat addition if you can get companies on board to release their back catalogue it has potential.

Buut PS4's stable of bringing games to maket will be physical media, end of were still in a period of transition.

You needed ign to tell you PS4 was in development for several years. You know MS, Sony and Nintendo start research on their next consoles pretty much as soon as they release one.

Sony are stupid, but they're not THAT stupid: PS4 will be a physical console, I imagine the aquirement of Gakai will help for things like backwards compatibility as I can't see an x86-based CPU emulate the Cell in the PS3.
