Okay NRA, what do you honestly think is contributing more to the ridiculous numbers of gun deaths in America: violent videogames, or a national association that has been promoting gun use and interfering with gun-restricting legislation for decades? PlaneforgerIt's been around for more than a century actually, which could be considered decades but that's sort of misleading I think.

Parents arent truly teaching these kids whats the right or wrong time to use the guns since the beggining.noobmuhaha
They even said she barly ever took him shooting i had guns/racks in my room when i was a kid how come i never did samething?
You haven't done anything yet....
[QUOTE="noobmuhaha"][QUOTE="Cranler"] Wow you figured it all out. If lanzas mom had taught her son not to kill her and massacre a school this would never have happened. CranlerThey even said she barly ever took him shooting i had guns/racks in my room when i was a kid how come i never did samething? Youre obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed but youre probably not insane. People who commit murder are wired differently than the rest of us, teach them right and wrong all you want and it wont make a difference.
Then isn't the problem mental health and not guns necessarily? I mean despite being insane he seemed like a pretty smart guy and could probably have figured out loads of ways to kill people. Maybe not as effectively, but is the solution really just minimizing casualties? A guy in Japan where there is pretty strict gun control stabbed and killed 8 students and injured another 13 before he was subdued. Not the numbers of Sandy, but showing that it's still quite possible to cause a lot of damage.
My parents gave me guns to keep in my room before i was 10 lmao and i shot em since i was 4 I bet adams mom didnt let him keep guns in his roomnoobmuhahaIf this is true it just shows there is a serious mental problem problem in the US
All the kids who did the shootings didnt start shooting guns at my age 4 years old. That's why the dumbasses did it.Can people ignore the troll please?

What do you propse then? Lock up every single person who shows even an inkling of instability? Most mass murderers only commit the act because they can evade justice by killing themselves. Killing yourself with a knife is much harder than with a gun.people who shot guns all their life isnt gonna be as obsessed about trying out a gun as someone who finally gets ahold of a gun when they're older.so noob, clearly you are ashamed and don't really feel this BS you are spouting or you would post it from your main instead of some alt account.

Killing yourself with a knife is much harder than with a gun. Killing oneself with a handgun is pretty easy, and AFAIK limitations of gun control to that extent aren't even being proposed right now, so that isn't really going to help. There are a million other ways people can kill themselves as well, plus the highly likely event that police would shoot the assailant as well. What I'm proposing is increasing the mental health situation of the United States. Banning guns is the easy way out that probably won't work all that well. Most people don't even see their mental status as something they need to keep healthy, let alone something they would go to a a doctor for. And when people do doctors just give pills like the pills that Lanza was assigned, that have been shown to be causing violence and suicide. The entire state of mental health infrastructure in the US is crap. But everything else possible to blame other than that will get pushed forward before anything is done to fix that.[QUOTE="hexashadow13"][QUOTE="Cranler"] What do you propse then? Banning high powered guns would work to a certain degree i.e. compare the stats with the EU vs USA. There are loads of other reasons (such as healthcare) that EU has less violence as a whole as compared to US. There have been lots of studies about this in the US, but just as many studies have concluded that more gun control in states leads to more violent crime in them as compared to less.
shooting guns acouple times isnt good enough and a kid shouldnt have to ask the parent to shoot their gun. the parent should make the kid shoot a gun before he's old enough to ask.noobmuhahaNot much different to getting the kid shooting a gun within a video game.
