Things CAN change you know. If U2 comes out with untouched graphics then great, its graphics king but take FFXIII for example. The demo came out, looked beautiful, now things are slowly changing. Plus it doest help that people are saying Sony has a tendency to advertise with bullshots.

Oh I assure you, Naughty Dog is quite the opposite of Square Enix. Example given just take a look at the difference between what was shown during E3 of June and the upgrade that was shown just a month later.

Lol man I was kidding, just said it for the lulz. But those games don't count anyway.. they were all announced as PS3 exclusives first.. so they had to be demoed on the PS3 :p, except for AC2 of course.

Uncharted 2 looks very good. Lost Planet 2 looks very plasticy. Or maybe thats just shimmering ice.

Just so you guys remember, the first Uncharted achieved in every aspect the gfx of those "bullshots" released back then.

There's also the Beta for Uncharted 2, which had the same graphical quality of these shots.

Well, now you mentioned something i have a doubt about: is it the publisher or the developer that releases theses shots? I always thought it was the dev.

The reason being is I am sick of the fanboy's who claim that Uncharted isn't all that it's cracked up to be, or saying that it doesn't look as good as this game or that game.

There is even one on here who claims that Banjo Nuts and Bolts is better graphically than anything that's out to date, and the sad thing is some fanboy's agree with him.

But I love it how when those people pipe up and people like you remain silent, whereas I make a joke thread to prove a point, and low and behold I am automatically labeled as a fanboy. Just goes to show how biased some people can be.

Pics 3,5, and 6 are actual gameplay they played that area at E3, and other people played that area. The other pictures are Cutscenes from that demo at E3. except maybe the Snow one I think that one is from a previous conference.

One thing i just realised in this shot:

Just pay attention on the quality of the textures in this shot! :shock:

But the thing is, yes, UC2 looks good but it really isn't all its cracked up to be, it is not a generational leap, it is just slightly ahead of the pack(compared to the games that are out now, the game coming out later like, Alan wake, LP2, all look like strong contenders). AC2 looks right up UC2s alley. UC2 is VERY comparable to RE5.

Love the game, but the fanboys on both sides of this silly argument are really beginning to annoy me.

I guess you have not seen small clips of the jungle and the snowy mountains. Who knows where else the game would take you. This game does not only take place in run down city. If anything it looks better, bigger, and more grand than Indiana Jones.

Sick thing is you can tell that shot was rendered in game as Naughty Dog has said by the subtle jaggies in it. Just really a great achievement.

How can I be jealous? I can just buy the game myself... I just think that 3 Uncharted 2 threads per day and the fact that the game isn't even released is kind of pushing elitism to a new level, and I'm sure many will agree with me.

It's really not fair to compare an Uncharted 2 cutscene to Mass Effect 1 or 2. While Uncharted 2 cutscenes are using the in-game engine, they're not happening dynamically in-game, thus they can have huge production values and absolutely stellar animations. Mass Effect, since it's an RPG, in which the character can change his outfit and appearance, the cutscene must refelct said changes, so all the cutscenes in Mass Effect happen dynamically in-game.

With that said, I find Alan Wake more impressive than every game listed thus far.
