those ARE BS coz uncharted 2 has quite alot of jaggies which you dont see on those pics

It's because they downscaled the screenshot. Put it up on a real TV and it looks worse than CoD4 on PC.

Oh this is a very good point. When hundreds of Journalists saw it on what was the size of that screen again? Oh it was bigger than the screen at the Theater I go to. Yet there was no complaining of Graphics problems or jaggies by many who gave it that Best Graphics awards.

I just think that 1080p who is a level 1, and Hanass who has proven time and time again to be against not only Uncharted 2 yet the PS3 as well just don't really understand what they are talking about.

I might be mistaken, but nobody was standing 10 feet away to be able to see the jaggies. It's a fact that making the picture smaller will remove the aliasing. Deal with it.

I'm just curious, how many uncharted 2 'fans' are actually naughty dog fans that have appreciated most(or all) of their work in the past, or are just fanboys that are jumping on the bandwagon because of the game's graphics?

well I read all 9 pages of this thread and I can come to only one sensible conclusion

see now this is what gets on my nerves about uncharted1 & 2 it looks beautiful but thats because nothing is really interactive the scene looking out over the town looks like a scene taken straight from AC but the difference is in AC you can go and actually touch any building you can see but not in Uncharted its just all predetermined path.

The cut scenes may be in-game but if you actually walk up to Elena in-game and she doesn't look any where near that detailed.

dont get me wrong Im on my second play through of the first I love it and UC2 is a day 1 buy for me, Im just not blown away buy its graphics Resident evil had great graphics back in the day for the same reasons non-interactive and set paths.

I don't know about you guys, but I think Muramasa look better, just a thought.

I love how it looks on my 20" LCD, very clear and crisp.

U2 is beautifull game..no questions about that. But seriously.. weve seen similar quality in first Assassins Creed (just less cartoonish).

Uncharted 2 looks good but it has a colourful, and cartoony artstyle to an extent. The screens are also doctored and resampled to **** the game doesn't have 16fsaax.

It is obvious Uncharted 2 is not graphics queen because it's not out yet. It looks great, but Killzone 2 still looks superior in many ways. Assassin's Creed 2 is looking great as well.

AC2 is better technically. Like others have said, the fact that you can explore absolutely anywhere in the city is huge plus. That's like in the psone/n64 gen when some people said psone was better but actually it was only in bs cutscenes and in levels with extremely constricted movement and static cameras
