LOL! You fell on MS's PR spin about Halo 5 sales. Well, well done!

How this can be damage control if Halo 5 failed compared to previous Halos?
lol, talk about reaching.. that is the definition of "damage control" sir..
Basically, you can't bash Halo 5's current success so you have to resort to apples-to-oranges comparisons to older titles in the series?..
Halo 4 was launched at the end of the generation when the 360 had upwards of a 70+ million console install base.. Compare that to Halo 5 launching to the tune of around 15+ million consoles and tell me how that is a valid comparison?..
Halo 3 was literally released at the absolute height of the franchises' popularity.. It was released after the Xbox Live-defining Halo 2, was the end of a cliffhanger trilogy to Halo 2, and was released at the height of the Xbox 360's popularity (during a time in which the console was stomping a mudhole in the PS3 in terms of public reception which is the exact opposite of the Xbox One's current situation).. Not to mention the fact that we're discussing NPD here and digital sales have come a long way between the Halo 3 days and now.. Again, this is not an apples-to-apples comparison..
But at the end of the day, of course Halo 5 didn't outsell the absolutely most popular entry in the franchise.. DUH!!.. that still doesn't equate to "failure".. Did Halo 3: ODST outsell Halo 3?.. Did Halo: Reach outsell Halo 3?.. were those games "failures" or were they just simply top selling video games for their time?.. Halo 5: Guardians is a top selling video game sir.. You have to be pretty butthurt to reach all the way back to 2007 in order to pull some measure of damage control out of your cow assess..
I mean, lmao, the only way you cows can try to make Halo "fail" is by comparing it to another Halo!!.. Damage control at it's finest..
