Wish it were that simple don't ya? I own a nice expensive car as well. I must be compensating for something right? I am an extremely outgoing guy. I get plenty of girls and it only gets better when I show them my ride. Hell a few of them are actually impressed by my computer and 42" LCD I use on it. I have no problem in the "size" department so what could I possibly be compensating for? I guess all that needs to be said is this...PC will ALWAYS have the better version of ANY high profile multiplatform and you can take that to the bank. I see no reason why I should play this game on my 360 when I know I can play it on my PC and have better graphics and also better gameplay due to the easier control scheme.

Well this is system wars, don't much see the point in conversing peacefully. The PC version on a good rig has the upper hand, stop trying to get around this and say well we will all have fun. Sure we will, but I am just pointing out that the PC version is superior no matter how petty the difference may be to you, it is better whether you like it or not.well ign gave it the same score so yes it is the same game. im sure if the games were different enough they would have given different scores but they didnt. ive seen the pictures, the pc barely looks any better for an already stellar looking game. stop trying to turn this into a war over a game both platforms can enjoy.

Sure it's good, but not the uber fantastic shut everyone up game. maybe the demo is too short to capture that. As I mentioned earlier the atmosphere is terrific, sound fantastic, graphics top-notch, but gameplay is the most important and so far the Halo3 MP beta was more fun than the bioshock demo.
Hacking the sentries will get tiresome in time doing the same thing over and over again but with less time as the game progresses I presume.
I was hoping for a scary type game like condemned and I have no doubt they could have made a scarier game then condemned if they wanted to, but they didn't.
Someone please help me to see the fun in bioshock because I want to love it.

The very fact that came to mind for you speaks even MORE volumes than you've already let us on to. Regardless of platform, Bioshock is going to be a spectacular game. I think it depends on your location. Phone and see. I seen some people say yes, some say no. I know there will be none here (only game ever is Halo that I know of).

right. so halo 3 and Gears are crap but Crysis is gonna be goty right? come on man be realistic here. gears is a great game and halo 3 will be great too. i may not be able to play crysis bc i dont have a superior pc right now but i can at least admit when other platforms get good games that i wont be able to play. crysis looks great. ut3 looks great. there are great games on all systems this year.

Uh I don't care if the PC version is a bit better. Mainly it's better because of the mouse being able to switch weapons and do the stupid hacking game easier. But other than that it's pretty much the same. But tbh, it's best played on a huge TV/movie screen and sitting back on your sofa in a dark theater. If you have a PC hooked up like that and it can run the game at max settings go for it.For me I'd rather have it on the system that doesn't require a KBM to get the game started.
I thought the demo was fantastic. It's not as scary as System Shock 2 (I'm comparing the first 30 minutes of gameplay of both), but it's still downright creepy. Reminds me of the psychological scares I give people at Spookers.
I was reading IGN's review, and I thought that for the most part it was a good review, except the closing comments. They went all fanboyish. They took Roger Ebert and Hideo Kojima's thoughts out of context. What they both believe is that video games can never reach the artistic level of film and literature -- they never saidgames couldn't be artistic.

I think Ebert is somewhat right. Personally, I think games can be artistic, but only to a certain extent. They're very much in the same league as those Goosebumps "Choose Your Own Scare" type books. They're just as fun, not as tightly woven.
In any case, I think Bioshock is going to own. And yes, I do think it's artistically wonderful.

how are videogames not more art than movies? Everything in the game has to be created with hopefully fresh new creative innovative ideas, along with a great story driven game, they are basically interactive movies....some games truly are art but then u get wario ware or stuff like that or sports games that are more interactive simulations...but games like bioshock and hl2 should seriously be considered art

I did not say they were crap I said they are not good to me. The BIGGEST reason is because they are on console. I don't have as much fun playing games on my 360. I simply have it so in case a big good game comes out I can play it with my friends when they are over at my place.

I dont care that the game looks a little bit better on PC. I care that I have to read annoying flamebait trying to piss off 360 owners. We all know your godly PC version looks a little bit better. We can accept that. But beyond that, no one really cares because the gameplay is unchanged. I mean it was the same situation with Oblivion. Didnt care then because the game already looked incredible.

thats fine thats just a matter of opinion though. i agree playing fps is alot harder to get used to on a console and halo really is the only fps i like to play on a console. but again, it really just comes down to preference and the specfic game. for example, i cant even imagine playing CS on a console. it would probably be horrid. would never do it.

It is a single player game that supports DX10 on PC. How can you be a logical person and think somehow that the 360 provides the better experience. my point is we dont care. the 360 people buying this game dont care that the pc game looks a little bit better. and the keyword there is "good rig". most people dont own a pc powerful enough to run this game looking better than the 360 version. so trust me, the game looks amazing in HD on a big tv with a 360. thats great you can run it on ur great pc rig but honestly, we dont care. it just seems like your trying to annoy us with it now.

Review Tonight. I say 9.5.Riviera_PhantomSounds about right. Though, I still hope for the next 10. But without ANY mutli... is it plausable? I wonder how multi would have been with plasmids... Probably tough to balance.

like the controls? thats a preference. and it obviously did not affect ign scores. you can say they are different all you want buy the bottomline is they are scoring the same. a good example is the new madden for 360 and ps3. they are the same game but obvious gameplay differences bc of hardware is hurting the ps3 scores. this is not the case for bioshock. basically, i understand ur point if you have a pc that can run it, theres no reason u should get the 360 version instead. my point is that the differences are minimal and for the most part come down to personal preference and convenience.
