Gee, maybe some people actually thought the game was FUN despite a low score given by some complete stranger. Personally, I thought the demo sucked, but that does not mean that it is going to suck for everyone who plays it, lol. Just because GS rated it a 6.5, nobody should play the game? Is that your logic here? So much for forming your own opinion, I guess, huh?

i wasnt expecting the game to get 9's but i think GS has been a bit too harsh considering other reviews have been good... still those interested in the game shouldnt care about low reviews.. Personally if i'm truly interested in a game there is no bad review that can hold me from getting the game.. i play what i want and what i think its good..

But RTS on consoles??? mmm i think its a genre suited for PC's....

I think he means that on Metacritic HW still has an 82 score and keeps going up as more reviews arrive.

No it was a joke for damage controlling I think to get people all up in arms

AAA: 9.0-9.5

AA: 8.0-8.5

A: 7.0-7.5

B: 6.0-6.5

But there is no way someone would hype a game as a B. It just wouldn't receive hype if people thought it would score so low.

I'm very surprised by this score, and I don't understand the people that say they expected this. We're not talking about just some developer, we're talking about Ensemble studios, god rest their soul. I was expecting this game to get at least an 8. Haven't seen any movies or anything, just basing it off on developer pedigree, an 8 seems like a justified score. It's a shame that Ensemble can't go out with a bang.

PS: This is SW so: :lol: @ X360 fans hyping this as a good rts :lol:

Still have their great PC RTS title. :) Age of Empires series.

But, yea, it's a shame they couldn't go out with a truly epic game like the Age of Empires games were to alot of us gamers. I really can't say i'm surprised at the score though. I hated the demo. I think it's ironic. FEAR2 demo got literally destroyed here at the forums when it came out and scored an 8.5? (don't remember the number specifically) Then the Halo Wars demo comes out and gets nothing but praise mostly and it flops as bad as this. I mean, there were lemmings comparing this to Empire at War...honestly...
