its been simplified a lot since the 90s.....

now almost everything on the software level is done and recognized automaticlly.

Heh, that's why I'm just gonna buy a new one if need be.

But fear not good sirs, chances are what you are typing this on (unless it's the Wii or PS3) will be able to play the game anyways. Blizzard is notorious in making their games accessible to the masses in terms of requirements.

Quite, odds are if your computer can run WarCraft 3, you'll be able to run StarCraft 2 when it's released.

Easily, my old crappy Dell from around 2000 could run it with ease, the computer I'm on now is like literally 4x every spec the old was, processor, ram, hard drive, video card.

I'd venture a 1.5 ghz, half gig ram, 32 to 64 mb vid card could run this game without much of a problem. Don't computer companies give those rigs away? 

Get over the initial shock, and u realize it is just Starcraft with a graphical facelift

Yes! We Starcraft fans have waited far too long for this, but now, it's finally here. My only concern is that it doesn't take 5 years for it to be made because come on, we're human, most of us cannot wait 5 years for a game. Still, I'm glad to know that Blizzard have finally gotten the MMORPG virus out of their heads and are finally starting to work on an RTS. My favorite RTS too. :D

Oh yeah, my second concern is that my laptop won't be able to handle it. Still, it's time for an upgrade, and maybe I can finally get my hands on a gaming-oriented laptop.

Confirmed for XP/Vista/Mac.

WOOT!!!!! F*ck yeah! Now, I'm happy. When that SC2 is out, that will be the day Street Fighter 3: Thrid Stirke will retire from my console.

the ending of the demonstartion was awsome.....

they really worked a lot on the protess, I hope they demonstrate the other races next time.

It's already in a playable state, so it won't be EXTREMELY long, but anything is too long.

 It took them, what, 10 years? I already had lost hope for this game... I thought Blizzard would make another MMO game. Never been happier about being wrong before!!!

 But honestly, can you believe it, 10 years! Any other company would have released 4 sequels by now.
