Type A on the Bioengineer as fast as you can then slowly tap left. It might take a couple tries but it will happen eventually.

I like the Defender the best so far too. Just feel so powerful moving around in it. I also loved dropping the frozen spider in the air and having it land freezing a circle of enemies around me.

Bioengineer was alright, probably would be a lot better later but at the start it was weak.

The Commando takes awhile to get use to since it plays different then the other melee classes.

You, for lack of a better word, cursor over it then switch over to one of the ones next to it while pressing A; if you do it right, the "Press A" thing comes up before the other class, but you have to be really quick about it. Also of note: even though it seems the Bioengineer and Defender weren't supposed to be in the demo, they do still have their own loot tables for it from what I've seen; you get the right types of stuff for that cIass...

Dennis Dyack already said the all the classes besides Champions were easter eggs. So they were ment to be played in the demo.

:cry: only because it's going to be labeled as a flop even with an 8.5 or 9.

I mean everything about this game was good. The gameplay was smooth and fun. The graphics remind me of a sharper god of war 2, and don't get me started on the voice acting.

ps. the camera is hte WORST thought out system in the game. Now i know they wanted to incorprate moves into the right stick but it just dosent work with the camera. and when you hold down (LB or RB) i cant remeber which one the camera still dosent work. that system is fatally flawed and will be the achillies heel of the game.

You aren't suppose to mess with the camera, if you keep trying to hit LB all the time it will get frustrating. If you just let the camera do what it is suppose to do you shouldn't have a problem with it.

Set it to "Iso" or "Strategic" (up or down on the D-pad) and you don't have to baby it as much. It's ten times better.JocktheMotie

That's because the demo was actually cut from a near-complete build of the game. They cut a little after the opening cinematics, through the end of the first area (cutting out before you'd get to, presumably, a big boss fight and more cinematics). So we didn't get to see the beginning, but I imagine they would have no reason to have cut out the loot tables.

Beating the hour long demo put the competion at 5%. I would say it's possible to beat the demo in 45 ~ 60 minutes depending on exploration and how much time is spent in-menu / cutscenes - so that would put the main game in at the 15 hour mark in a reasonably brisk playthrough... though I've spent 5.5 hours with just the "first hour" of the game, so I can see how Dyack would mean that the game clocks in at an incredibly high number of hours in terms of replay.

Just did the Commando, so all that is left is Bio Engineer for me - Commando was nice for taking down trolls and missile guys, but he desperately needs his spider / battle cry abilities for crowd control. Based on my initial impressions, it seems the Champion is a balanced c1ass, the Berserker enjoys early game power but likely has some trouble on the larger late-game bosses and elites, the Commando will be useful for taking out elite / boss characters, but get overwhelmed by swarms, and the Defender can slug it out, but benefits from other c1asses to add to his speed / damage.

I'm going to be curious to do Bio Engineer and see where it all fits together - co-op will certainly be interesting.

You do seem to get faster as you level up. That may not be an inaccurate observation, as I believe Dyack was mentioning your movement improves as you level. I've also noticed that higher-level items tend to have more "X%" boosts to weapon, speed, combo, and defense. I imagine the power boost as you complete legendary sets is going to be nuts.

If it's anything like WoW, the difference between "lv. 50" and "lv. 50 with top-tier gear" is going to be substantial.

Fair enough, i'll admit it won't be a game for everyone. I will say though, before you write it off, play through as the beserker, a very cool early level charachter and spend a bit of time mastering the advanced combat moves. Once you start chaining some insane moves together, its very cool.

Actually, it worked for me to just disconnect the power cable, as that reset the clock to some time in '06. It just needs to NOT be '08.

im curious, how are the different classes? I really am getting pumped for the game, I played the demo twice and noticed even more stuff. I think this game is a sleeper. There is a ton of buzz coming from the demo.

im curious, how are the different classes? I really am getting pumped for the game, I played the demo twice and noticed even more stuff. I think this game is a sleeper. There is a ton of buzz coming from the demo.

The beserker, is crazy fast, you can ping pong between enemies so fast, its an adrenaline buzz. He can't take as much damage and his ranged weapon skills suck, but i found him the most fun. The commando, plays so differently, always trying to hang back take enemies out from afar, using ranged weapons. I found him quite fun tho, once i figured out how to target seperate enemies with each pistol, you can mow through hoards this way. HAven't played bio or defender yet, but three i have played, play very differently

The game just SUCKS and BLOWS, its sad to think that this game has been in the making for 10 years (of course not on the 360 but you get my saying) and this is all they came up with.

The ONLY people who are praising this game are the type of gamers that make themself like the game because they sooo want it to be a killer app. Just like my fellow PS3 owners who praised Lair when the game sucked @ss!!!:evil:

The game will be a big flop and everyone knows it, but for those that want to still think its a good game... hey more power to ya!:roll:

I mean, no one is hyping this as a "killer app". People are just saying it'll be "good". There's a HUGE difference.

The c1asses can basically be divided into tiers on the aspects of growth, speed, power, and defense.

Beserker - Fast, furious, close-range combat expert. The Berserker's speed and power make him an excellent choice for those who love bouncing around the battlefield. The Berserker is skilled at taking on crowds of standard enemies in large rooms. However, for his combat ability and quickness he trades defense. Larger boss enemies, elites, and ranged enemies require care - stop moving or get caught in a blast, and those power attacks take out a large chunk of health.

I found that if you get hit by a boss / elite / missiles - you get hit hard - break the combo chain and the enemies will break your face.

Commando - Ranged combat expert, the Commando is a tricky c1ass to play, likely a good choice for an intermediate player looking for something different. The Commando is one of the best, if not the best, c1ass for taking down trolls and elites, as his ranged attacks let him target and disable weapons from a distance. However, the Commando must make careful use of his limited crowd control abilities (secondary fire, mines, battle cries). I found that the Commando at lv. 7 began to gain the ability to survive swarming, but at lower levels it was tougher to survive the enemy rush.

ZOMFGWTFBBQ... Seriously this game superb I found setting the camera to Iso or Strategic eliminated all camera angle problems. Also the I hear people complaining about the graphics, the game is a work of art with acception MUSIC and VOICE acting.

bounty automatically homes in on you after a certain amount of time if you miss it, so i wouldn't worry. Any loot that drops, even if you knock a goblin over the edge, will find its way to your inventory.

This game seems to look like a JACK OF ALL TRADES MASTER OF NONE, looking at the gameplay vids etc, on the hack n slash side of things seems to have taken a few ides from GOW, DMC4 etc and the leveling up sidr of things has been to death but much better in different games IMO its not so much as mixing different gameplay styles in this game, it just looks to have plainly stole ideas frome here.there and everywere:roll: still they do say the best form of flattery is to copy something LOLkrakout31
