*OH SNAP* IGN-UK Heavenly Sword Review

IGN's scores are not an average. That way a game with amazing gameplay but terrible graphics, can score well.

Say what you will Lemmings, but once Warhawk and Heavenly Sword come along, I won't have to sit here on system wars all day trying to justify my console purchase by calling games that score good flops.

I feel sad for anyone who wants one of the game companies to fail, because when that does, competition will be taken off the market and that means games will become of less quality... Really sad for people who wish this.

when I said that, I had Microsoft and Sony in my mind. the small independents like Nintendo and Sega are always at risk.

IGN and Gamespot is where its at, and IGN gave it a 7.0 FACT

Even through it only one review, I still have a feeling that this game will flop, which will suck if it does. HS is one of the few PS3 games that I interested in.

Me either. It's been a year and we stilll don't have an AAA exclusive. Sony has got to do something. It looks like Lair, Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword all flopped. AAA now rest on Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted if it comes out this year. Truly sad.

First off the demo wasn't lackluster and I am still going to enjoy all these games no matter what they score. They aren't terrible games they are still good games.

Dude w/e. The gameplay in the demo is a clean indicator to someone who has played, God of War, DMC, or Ninja Gaiden extensively that Heavenly Sword's gameplay is lackluster.

And I didn't say the game was terrible.. Would you like me to?

I was collecting and playing old PS1, PS2 and PC games. Now I'm waiting on big releases and while waiting I find myself sifting through forums.

Heavenly Sword seemed promising at first, but then the demo just killed it. The game isn't exactly bad or terrible, it just shouldn't have been hyped as much, esspecially after the demo.

Oh well, I hope that a game that looks just as good as Heavenly Sword comes along but doesn't stint on gameplay. Maybe Naughty Dog's game will be it, or Rachet and Clank. Whatever game it is Sony has to deliver, it's absolutely ridicoulous to spend money on a console and see the FIRST PARTY titles flop-drop-and roll.
