[QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="ToScA-"][QUOTE="DSgamer64"] So you would take a guy who has only made 2game franchisesin his entire career, one of which happens to be a rehashed fighter and the other an insanely difficult ninja game, seriously?
Honestly, considering how horrible Dead Or Alive has been since it originally started in terms of being anoriginal fighting game, I would never take that man seriously considering how only one of the two franchises he created is actually still good while the other is pure rehashed tripe.
ToScA-
I'm not too fond of Dead or Alive, but for Ninja Gaiden alone that man deserves a lot of respect imo. The diffuculty of the game didn't stop it from getting critically acclaimed and universally beloved by Xbox-owners, and I've personally never found the game to be all that hard at all.
DoA is fun. Especially online. Any game that can entertain me for 2 years as DoA4 has, earns my respect.
And yes, Ninja Gaiden is the standard the genre. Can't wait to see what he's doing with Ninja Gaiden 2.
I think DoA is good, if not great. I have, however, this small personal habit of growing tired of the game quite rapidly. I don't have this issue with other fighting games such as Tekken or Virtua Fighter. DoA simply bores me after a short period of time :/
And regarding Ninja Gaiden 2, TGS can't come fast enough! Can't wait!
I would also like to point out the hypocricy in Itagaki's statement about physics. Who in the hell does he think he is bashing one game for physics yet his games lack any kind of good physics. I mean jesus enemies hang in the air for about 5 seconds in Ninja Gaiden Sigma when you kill them and a lot of the bad guys use the same fighting tactics which get extremely annoying after a while. His idea of phsyics is girls with giant boobs that bounce all over the place in their skimpy costumes, not exactly very good physics to say the least.
