Okay, so is the Xbox One bashing getting just a little out of hand?

It's a terrible product that I won't touch with a ten foot pole and all, but...

Isn't the basing getting a little out of hand now? Hyperbole, exaggeration, gross misinformation, and with literally everybody imaginable jumping on the hate bandwagon, not just forum posters, but people beyond the traditional purview of gaming too.

On a completely serious, non trolling note, do you think the Xbox One bashing is getting just a teensy bit out of hand?

Me and a few other posters (I won't name names, they must be kept safe) are the only levelheaded ones here about the X1 hate train.

It deserves all the harsh things it's getting.

The more bashing, the better. It only makes the outside world more informed about it. We don't want this surveillance device to sell well.

this is system wars, microsoft has been putting their foot in their mouths for the past couple of weeks. My friend who doesn't even play videogames or nothing of its politics knows microsoft got their asses handed to them at E3 just because its even in the news nowadays. If you don't like the way this forum is headed go to general game discussion or something.

Looks like you need to absorb more information about the console. The Internet connection and Kinect are mandatory. These two together is quite suspicious.

Nah, i've seen worse bashing before for less egregious stuff already plus it will die down in a week or two

As a Herm the always-on DRM doesn't bother me too much (if internet doesn't work, house is broken) but the Kinect part does. I hated on PS3 before its launch for a buncha reasons but it wound up being the best "nect gen" console. Maybe the Xbone can do the same, despite its higher pricing and other less desirable features. Eight years is a long time...

I haven't seen anything unreasonable or excessive considering what has transpired. 

Now if the PS4 was like the Xbone  and the Xbone was like the PS4 on the other hand, it would likely be 100 times worse.

It deserves more hate.

it is fun to ridicule the x1 for making mistakes and it is fun to ridicule all the over the top fanboys so win win.

Hopefully the bashing is just getting warmed up.  Microsoft needs to get kicked in the nuts and thrown out of the gaming industry A.S.A.P.  I believe in healthy competition, but Microsoft is a cancer that needs to be removed.  I'd rather see Sony and Nintendo, 2 companies that I respect, go at it.

I gladly give Nintendo and Sony my dollar.  I know they're businesses trying to get money, but they're no where near as underhanded, greedy and anti-consumer as Microsoft.  Microsoft just sucks as a company.  Just look at their tablet and smartphone presence in the industry.  The only thing they have going for them is Windows which is a monopoly where they have no competition.  If you buy a PC, you basically use Windows.

It is complete Hyperbole and exaggeration now. I think the PS4 is the better choice right now but some of the stuff people are complaining about when it comes to the X1 is just getting dumb. To be fair though this forum has always had annoying Sony fanboys that hate anything Microsoft more then they like Playstion.CanYouDiglt
