When one trolls, it's better to make them look even more ridiculous than they were trying to be. By that point most trolls start to lose their cool.

Tis true. You as always remain a beacon of intelligence, common sense and courteous posting. On the other hand we have grown men like Kinthalis painting themselves out to be a schoolyard bully. I don't place this board much higher than YouTube or 4ch anymore.

I don't mind rabid PC fanboys like Kinthalis ripping into ignorant console gamers. They cancel each other out. The Code_blue dude can't even run Morrowwind and he continues to claim the "I'm a PC gamer too !!!" argument.

Because he's a fake and a troll lol. He baited pretty much all of you hook, line and sinker. Does no one remember the Code_Red account right before his?

Kinthalis

Well,Kinthalis may exagerate quite a bit but that´s usually when you see console gamers around making ridiculous claims as well.

I don't exaggerate. I'm just blunt when it comes to consolite idiocy.

i see it. I clal it out. People don't like that. They think I should be diplomatic about some imbecile cosole fanboy claiming PC gmaing is dead, a Pc costs 10,000 dollars, there are no good game son it anyway, etc, etc, etc

Why, is it up to PC gamers to be the diplomats? Why aren't console gamers who say this nonsense DAY IN AND DAY OUT in SW, EVER called to task for the same behaviour?

At least I DON'T make crap up. I back my up arguments with facts.

Oh I wasn´t saying you don´t back your claims with facts,I meant the tone man,the tone. ;)

The Top 100 games had less than a million players in total (833989 to be precise). Not so impressive.

Pretty sure that beats the pants out of the Ps3 stats. And unlike the xbox 360, people on the Pc actually play games other than Modern texture swap 3.

Diversity. Probably why you'd have to dig deeper than 100 games to find most of the players.

Look at the stats - the last games in Top 100 have less than 1000 players. The total number of people playing games is probably not much higher than 1 million. I personally keep Steam active all the time, so bragging about concurrent users doesn't make much sense to me.

Not mad, just tired of people trolling when they have no idea of what the PC can do. Check out the hardware board or the PC Games board...if you don't troll, you get helped out. Telling someone how to run a DXDiag (Direct-X diagnostic) is not a hack.

30 year old lowlives arguing on forums to protect their PC e-honor.

"But he said the PC was dying"

Yeah? So did half the publications in the country.

Not just for gaming, but simply made irrelevant by tablets and smartphones.

Type "PC dead" in google and go read the dozens of professionally written articles.

5 million connected to Steam?

Worldwide? Out of population 6 billion?

That's a pretty heinous statistic.

In 15 years we went from PC Gaming being universally the only way to game, to being practiced by %0.00000000001 of the human population.

"But we're growing!" Yeah right, so are the Knights of Columbus.

Of course game on your PC, but try other things too, play Dark Souls and RDR and everything else you're missing.

Life is short and tommorrow's not promised.

This is what I'm tlkaing about. Console fanboys like these fail at basic logic. Basic reasoning skills. Basic debate skills, certainly.

They just fail so damn hard, it's so easy to pick apart their stupid posts. Why do other people get so defensive, when the only people I attack are people like LazySloth?

BTW, lazy Sloth, those 5 million concurrent are more than any of the consoles can muster. Soooo if Pc gmaing is "Dead".. then what does that make consoles?

Your GPU (HD 3200) isn't as strong a card. I don't use ATI cards, so you might want to ask an ATI user if your driver is current. A current driver can fix a lot of gaming problems. Also you need more RAM.

No, you should be able to run Morrowind on it, but I would still ask an ATI user if your driver software is up-to-date. The reason I mentioned you need more RAM is to run any newer games than Morrowind.

You're welcome. If you want to run older cIassics, check out the Good Old Games website...they have a lot of cIassic old games fixed to run on Windows 7.

your PC should be able to run anything from 04' backwards. I would recommend you visit ATI Radeon's site and download the latest drivers, then download Nvidia Physics and then get DX9.

edit : nvm about the DX9.

Your RAM is good, but you left out the next part (display devices), which would have listed your GPU. The first half of your rig is good, but I don't know what you're using for a graphics card.

You already know your specs are good enough, what was the point of this ? it would be better if you had an even 3GHz though. Or is it a dual core that doubles as 6GHz ? :P

LOL!

So consoles are fisher price toys? And consolites little kids?

I mean I agree with you, but that's the last thing I thought I'd ever hear coming from you.

Kinthalis

They are, but that won't stop you from feeling inadequate will it.

Folks like you feel angry that their rig doesn't buy them l33t status anymore.

Nobody gapes in awe, because even little kids are playing the same games you are (and, quite frankly, better games than you are.)

And they're being catered to hand and foot by half a dozen industries.

Meanwhile you miss out on good stuff because you didn't evolve.

Intel HD graphics presents a problem, as the majority of uber-games won't support that chip. Plus it only has 64 MB of memory, not enough for games such as Mass Effect 1. To run the major games, you need a dedicated GPU in its own PCI-e slot on a motherboard. Mass Effect 1 can be run by a GPU as old as the 7800 GTX, which is what the PS3 uses (although it's a gimped version of the 7800).

Intel HD graphics presents a problem, as the majority of uber-games won't support that chip. Plus it only has 64 MB of memory, not enough for games such as Mass Effect 1. To run the major games, you need a dedicated GPU in its own PCI-e slot on a motherboard. Mass Effect 1 can be run by a GPU as old as the 7800 GTX, which is what the PS3 uses (although it's a gimped version of the 7800).

hmmm, i see, i haven't had troubles running any game yet, crysis 2, sims3, skyrim all run at max settings pretty well, i appreciate the feedback

Sounds like Call of Duty numbers on Xbox alone.ActionRemix

Nope. MW3 broke Black Ops numbers, so it pegged above 2.6 million. I believe it was around 3 million IIRC.
