@goldenelementxl: those scales in the top image are definitely off - the x controller being used as a reference is too small. You can tell by the scale and spacing of all the controls - it would be for micro hands. That being said, the ps5 is definitely going to be inexplicably big. The bottom one is closer to correct
So MS is going to have a similar show next month, but comparing this to what they've already shown, I'd say Sony's presentation wins, but not by a mile. There were still a few games here and there that were more reveal trailers than gameplay trailers. They also didn't show off games that take advantage of the PS5. I listened with headphones but I didn't hear anything special.
I actually loved that show. They showed off the system, and I think it looks fantastic. They showed non-stop games, from many genres, with many big names. A lot of new stuff. I just plain had fun watching. Way better than I expected, lol
No talk about launch lineup, price, bc or actual exclusive, 6/10 show imo, definitely seeMs unlikely that I will pick one up at launch.
Best games were ratchet, Spider-Man and that athia game, knowing squarenix it won’t be out for ages though!
Some games had the release year of 2020 and 2021 which are launch games. So Spiderman, Ghostwire, Solar Ash, Hitman 3, Bugsnax, Godfall, NBA 2K21, GTA V remaster.
There were a ton of games shown I’m really interested in getting deeper looks into. I know some of them aren’t at launch but this was definitely a great showing.

Project Athia = its Square game
Pragmata = Edgy look at me game
Gran Tourismo 7 = Sequel
Ratchet and Clank = Sequel
Horizon Forbidden West = Sequel
Demon Souls = Remake
Spider man = Sequel
The only games I saw that interested me and had any charm to them are Little Devil Inside and Kena both of which are on PC.
I have no interest in sequels unless its GTA6/HL3 or ES6, and I have no interest in edgy games with little to no interesting game-play like Detroit or Death Stranding which looks like what Pragmata and Returnal will end up being.
Resident Evil 8: glad it was announced, but that trailer was kinda weird. I like that it has a RE4/Bloodborne thing going for it though lol.
Horizon Zero Dawn 2: looks great, I hope they fix the dumb human AI and improve the combat.
PS5 Design: looks like Sony hired someone from Alienware to design their next console lol. Regardless, it's actually the coolest looking Playstation for sure. They decided not to be conservative this time. I like it more than the Xbox Series X. Although it looks kind of big. I also liked that they are offering a choice between disc and all digital. It's great that they recognize that people do have a preference between physical and digital. Way to go, Sony!
I was expecting a bit more graphically, and the main game to show off the ssd was Ratchet. The rest looked like they would play on the ps4 just scaled down slightly on the graphics side.
Looking forward to Ratchet, Demon's Souls, GT7, RE8, Spidey - Miles, and Horizon 2 all look very interesting. I was hoping to see more from Demon's Souls, but I'm happy it's actually coming.
