I just noticed that it looks like the PS5 can only be stood upright. I haven't read any more information, if any has come out, but just from looking at the form factor, it doesn't appear that it supports a horizontal posture.

Sony really brought out a damn Comcast Xfinity modem lol.

Also, its good that the console supports Male to Male USB C.

The digital only version of this console, is also such a puzzling and un-asked for move. Even more puzzling considering ballooning install sizes that are set to only get bigger, and the fact you're required to buy Sony's SUPAH-FAST-SSD, or an equivalent, which is also expensive. Those SSDs are going to fill up fast.

That they're this desperate to shave the price down just so they can have a cheaper sku available should be a red flag to everyone about the price of this console. This is not going to be cheap. Expect $599.

That's what I read. I think it's not a port. They're going to expand it into it's own stand alone game I'm guessing. They said PS5 owners will get GTA Online for free.

All the native footage on Playstations youtube channel are 4K/30 except for Godfall which is 4K/60.

I told people 36 CU, ie 5700-RTX 2070 level of performance not enough for 4K/60 with modern games and all those games look current generation with little to no ray tracing in them.

Even the XSX with 52 CU's is going to have a hard time with 4K/60... Just ask Ubisoft, s***'s not easy to do like the fan muffins think it is.

If its GTA5 how can it be a stand alone game? I mean so what they're doing is a P5 R, as in re-releasing the game where it will have dlc only available for next gen only, and thus making people buy it again? something like that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Lol, you're pretty spot on about that. It does indeed look like some Dubai skyscraper. I don't have a problem with it though. Sony wanted to go flashy with the design for a change.

Not really impressed with the showing. That Square-Enix game looks interesting, also Spiderman MM. Console's design is a bit meh.

Also GTA5 is staying relevant for 3 generations holy damn.

I just want to point this out to anyone if you are gonna buy PS5 day one, just keep in mind reports saying there's gonna be limited supplies this time around and if you want to make sure you have PS5 day one, just hit "pre-order" whenever possible cause this time, you might not find any PS5 from retailers. If I remember correctly, it was also hard to find any PS4 when they launch, so yeah, history will repeat itself if you aren't careful.

For me, only 3 PS5 games have my full attention are Horizon 2, Godfall, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are my picks but I really don't wanna buy/invest another console. But if that disc-less is cheaper, I'll buy it in the distance future.

So why is it when a MS game is shown you always say I don't care about Xbox i'll buy it on PC and yet you know full well that Godawfall is on PC day 1 and yet you say it like its a PS5 only game?

I just watched a few trailers again and I must say the graphics are much better than I previously thought. I don't know if the stream I was watching on the ps4 was no good, but some of these games look fantastic. If I could pre-order, I probably would. A lot of games I'm interested in for sure.

I expect you as a raging cow to say so. I don't like the look of either really (not that either bothers me as I don't sit and stare at it) but the PS5 is fuglyier there is no doubt about that Gwen lol.

I know why that video is 2 hours long: it's because it's now long enough to be a feature-length movie, and Sony loves movies.

Honestly not much got my attention at all. Don't really think much of the design, although that could possibly be to the white everything theme, I hate it, black only for me sorry. Couple of games looked okay but mostly unimpressed. No rush for me to buy unless I see some definite reasons to...but I am a sucker for new consoles so you never know.

@i_p_daily: Are you saying games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales & Ratchet & Clank are coming to PC? I do know Horizon 2 & Godfall are coming to PC though, I'm not buying PS5 day one mind you, this is all something to consider in the future.

As for PS5 design, I think it looks cool and the same for XSX. PS5 design is base on the V-shape meaning 5=PS5.
