PS3 Is the best console ever made

While I love the PS2 - I think the Gamecube should have gotten more love in it's time. I also regret selling my N64 for a bag of controlled substance.

How could it be? What is the evidence? You can provide evidence that any console is the best console ever made, and why that console isn't. Just because you love the PS3, doesn't make it the best.

Favorite =/= best. Any argument for the "best console" comes down to scores, sales and subjective arguments.

The PS3 is definitely up there, it's one of the best consoles of all time in my books. But the PS2 easily beats it. I don't think there's any other console out there that can beat the PS2 and it's strong library of exclusive games.

I think PS3 is the best console ever made. How could it not be?

Now my opinion: 360 is in my top 5 just with Nes, Megadrive, Snes and Playstation1. PS3 would luckly be in my top 20 :P

Its easily the best console ever made. Best console graphics, Blu-Ray movies, Free online gaming, WiFe, Rechargeable Wiresless controllers,

The games are also some of the best Uncharted 1 & 2, Killzone 2,Call Of Duty 4/ MW2, Warhawk, Resistance 1 & 2, FIFA 10, Soul Calibur 4, GTA4, Demons Souls, Ratchet & Clank, Motorstorm, Burnout Paradise and Metal Gear Solid 4to mention a few. There is no doubt in my mind that games this gen are the best ever.

PS2 was a celebrity. The PS3 is the dorky offspring that will never live up to it's father's reputation.

I think it is the worst console design you could release this generation.

It was released with a price tag that made everyone shocked; and it's built on technology that requires specialist care at a time when developers just want to make one size fits all games.

360s design has the right idea this generation, unified memory and shaders and easy cross platform development with PC. If it wasn't for the RROD and Microsoft's restrictive policies; it would be the perfect solution for this generation.

the $600 price tag is very old.. a ps3 costs $300 now.. and for $300 you get free internet gaming, wifi ,internet browser,blu-ray& awireless rechargable controller.. yea, i think the ps3 is the best console ever made

By no means has the PS3 surpassed the PS2. It doesn't have half the library the PS2 had.

Yeh Xbox was the best console for those in the know. Halo 1 & 2last gen killed everything! Forza was the best racer too.
