PS3 won't stand up against the Wii come this Fall

Didn't think this thread would turn out this big when I left and came back, damn.

Its funny how as soon as someone mentions ANY Wii Exclusive, the PS3 Cows ALWAYS say the PS3 library is better and has more multiplats (when its clearly wrong.)

It's directed at the PS3. If it mentioned xbox then maybe this thread then there wouldn't be a big fuss i guess..

Owning 1 system doesn't make you a fanboy either. Fanboy is not a label associated to what you play or own, its a label based off of blind ignorance. Stevo has never exhibited blind ignorance, therefore he is not a fanboy. He also is not a lemming, that would infer blind love of the xbox brand, have you even read what he said about the 360 in this thread?

Heck yea I'm excited for Kirby and DK ... Conduit, and Goldeneye so far look laughable. While Metroid is looking solid. Great year to be a Wii owner for sure :)

people are talking like its common sense that wii has the worst lineup

yet the software and hardware sales of the wii are the highest which suggests that the general populus thinks that the wii games are the best

well people dont understand that the arguments you make are based on where you stand in the verbal conflict

and that in the end it would still all come down to personal preference.

the reason im saying this is that someone who would make a positive statement on the wii may use what you just said

which would mean that the wii is in fact the best system because the majority of people think that.

this is very smilar to the idea that many peoples opinion > fewer peoples opinion.

The only problem with sales is that 1 unit dosent necessarily mean 1 vote for Wii as the best console. As many people bought it with the other systems, which would mean they could have another favorite. And again others may not be happy with their choice.

The point is simply that there is no true winner in this, as the winner would be determined by which way you look at things.

And thats probably why so many people in SW make threads about different aspects of the console, to make one of them look better then the other based on the argument you presented.

mine has more exclusives, mine has more games ect. those are all number based facts. while others examples would be the opinion based ones. my console has the BEST exclusives, mine has the BEST overall games. ect.

The thread title specifically says that "PS3 won't stand up agains the Wii come this fall." If it were "about" exclusives, surely he would have signified it in the title. Instead, it implies that the Wii lineup is overall stronger than the PS3's.

It does make me sad to say that I believe the Wii will beat the PC this year.

PC definitely has the most good games this year, but the Wii just has a stellar lineup this year with a lot of AAes, Mario Galaxy 2, and an upcoming handful of AA-AAAe quality games.

So many haters in this thread though considering according to the Spreadsheet the Wii is second to the PC in high rated exclusives.

Sony's had a more consistent line-up all year, though. And it still has GT5.

But personally, I'm more interested in the Wii games, if only for a certain Metroid game being made by Tean Ninja.

Don't care about any of those games.

In terms of great titles upcoming this Fall, PS3 doesn't stand a chance. In terms of sales, GT5 might outsell all the games TC listed...combined.
