There is no reason for someone to buy a Scorpio if they have a capable PC. It won't run games at 4K and it won't really have any exclusive games. The PS4 Pro will have plenty including PSVR exclusives.

Unfortunately, Sony forced me to buy an Xbox One S for 4K Bluray playback. And I'm not the only one... I have friends that don't like Xbox that bought one for that reason. That's not a good look.

I was thinking of the Scorpio having the potential to play games that were purchased from Steam. Specifically the ones with controller support.

Either way cellphones are not graphics card either and they upgrade each year and people are more than willing to upgrade.

The problem here is that MS is not treating scorpio and the XBOS,the PS4 Pro is a PS4 with more power,scorpio is not an xbox one,hell scorpio will have exclusive games over the XBOS while playing all XBOS games.

So while you have a PS4 that aim for those who don't want to go $400,MS will have a console that will even gets its own exclusives vs the XBOS.

Your speculation was base on that leaker and my speculation is based on MS comments on "putting an end to console generations". And no you don't know what the Scorpio will really be. Anyone could speculate and have ideas or have interpretations on what they meant with ending console generations. All we know is what the specs they provided and it shows that it's the most powerful console, more powerful than any console out now. And once again, the Xbox ecosystem is shared with PC and console, I'm a console gamer and will still able to play Xbox games that's not changing I'm not losing anything.
