How is Sony going to manage three different systems? PS4 only released in late 2013. So less then 5 years there be 3 Playstation consoles with different specs for sale?

Putting and end to console generation doesn't mean MS will make the xbox a branded PC which you can change GPU as you like there is no motive on that from MS,is more based on the fact that they can release consoles like scorpio which is compatible with all games on xbox one while the xbox one is compatible with most games on scorpio.

The xbox ecosystem is not shared with PC XBL runs on PC and a closed gimped version of windows 10 runs on xbox one,were you can install only a very small number of games,most games on xbox are not compatible with PC and you can't take any physical game from xbox and play it on PC.

The Playstation meeting was only 5 days ago, calm down. Anyhow the PS4 is now on sale at a reduced price. If gamers were willing to buy it at 350 dollars, why would they not at 299 dollars..

I still believe the xbox slim is better value longterm. When you stop playing games on it eventually you can still use it and watch movies 4K in another room.

Sony isn't rolling in the dough so the very least you are going to see a PS5 is in 2019.

Wow so all Sony has to do is throw a more powerful console at cows and they go running. Never mind the fact that they only released two worthwhile games this whole gen BB and UC:4 everything else either flopped, delayed, or indie. MS may not have had a 10 but they have supplied xb1 owners with a solid line up since the start of this gen, yeah a few flops here and there but I'd rather have 8 or 9 80 and above games vs 2 really good games in a five year span.

Just saying if this is true don't expect Sony to put any money into actual games, because with 3 consoles and a VR headset......seems like Sony is spending money they don't have.

Also this is just a prediction that PS5 will release in 2018. Maybe it will but it just makes no sense to me from a business p.o.v., by then PS4 will be 5 years old, PS4P will be 2 years old as well as PSVR.
