Yea thats much better then the PSN.Well this blows, i just went on to play some greed corp(amazing game for those wondering), and it says "Problem loading trophy data, please quit game." Im going to try to see if i can play while offline, but either way this is pretty lame. I own a fat ps3 aswell.
Those are some nice numbers coming from the world of your imagination.. Check the latest stats. Either way, it's pretty sad you have to bring this into a thread that has nothing to do with it, insecure much.[QUOTE="themyth01"][QUOTE="LunaDravo"]
Righhhhtttt tell yourself that.. I've owned EVERY SYSTEM... that includes the crappy 3DO even... and the xbox360 has to be the crappiest made. It's been reported nearly 70% have had the RROD.. you get what you pay for!
LunaDravo
I've owned THREE 360's, two of them broke within a year... I did a quick search... and got these numbers.
Last years failure rate on current gen systems:
Xbox360: 54.5%
PS3 10.6%
Wii 6.7%
yeah they've "really" corrected the problem.
Well show the link for you 70% number. Better yet show the high failure rate of current 360s. And lol at the poll for 54%, seriously?![QUOTE="LunaDravo"]

try some inferences between PS2 and 360, and go see how bad the PS2 was at launch. Don't spew BS, mine is in my cabinet fully DRE'd.
Look at SquareTrade's study. Both of them. I like to think a major warranty company would know more than a mindless fanbot.

Not even comparable Xbox360 ignored the problem, they knew about this problem for years AFTER the release. PS2's failure rate was NEVER over 15% unlike the 360 which is still over that mark.

November 6th, 2006 happened.Funny that lemmings are so quick to jump on this when XBL has been down(unscheduled) more times and for longer then PSN ever has. Yet they claim that you get what you pay for....Sorry, but I don't understand this logic.
I've owned a 60 gig since launch and PSN has only been down twice, this being one of those 2 times. Yes there's been some scheduled maintinence, but some lemmings have already ruled that out as counting towards downtime. And even in those cases it was only down a couple hours tops.
In any case, who cares if PSN is down. Watch a movie, read a book, play a different system, whatever. There's lots of stuff to do in this world other then play Playstation.

That's not good enough for you... CNET also checked into this claims... here is what they found.
"It's the story that never dies, which is ironic because that's exactly what Xbox 360s keep doing. The old "Red Ring of Death" thing has all but disappeared from the news, but CNET has followed up on a Game Informer study to determined that 60% of British consumers have faced the crimson beast.
1,128 gamers were polled in a survey, with 562 Xbox 360 owners, 473 PS3 owners and 591 Wii owners. The PS3 and Wii reported a 16% and 6% failure rate respectively. The 360's 60% completely and utterly dwarfs the other two systems. Even worse, 32% of that number said they've dealt with a crippled Xbox twice. A further 19% stated that their 360 had died on them three times.
We all know how bad the 360 failure rate is, but this really hammers home how pathetic the whole situation has become. When the percentage of 360s that died three times is higher than the percentage of PS3s that died once, something truly ridiculous has happened."

This is how ALL surveys in the better part of the world are conducted. Yet you probably would have no problem with me saying 1/3 americans has AIDS(or whatever the studies show), now would you?And even if you're calling those number crap, you probably still believe the Square Trade numbers which are of a similarily small percentage of the userbase AND they don't even include RROD's in their warranties. Meaning RROD's are NOT part of Square Trades failure rate numbers, meaning even without RROD the 360 still has a higher fail rate then the PS3.
Now how about we get back on topic here.
