@Alucard_Prime: Agreed. Quinn's performance is better with my second play through and different choices. Hard level final fight is nerve wracking.

@cainetao11: Hehe yeah that fight was tricky on normal, so it will be a pain on hard no doubt.
Speaking of hard, I'm mostly alternating between Dark Souls 3 and this game, and I often find myself inadvertently pressing the "Y" button in Dark Souls lol(looking for collectibles/secrets)
Oh wow, this thread still lives lol. I'm on my 2nd play through for the game, it's great fun choosing the other junctions choices and seeing how it affects the show. Playing on hard also is more fun for the gameplay I'm finding.
Here is the thing about this game, if you didn't understand the story you wont enjoy the 2nd playthrougg as much. The game has a very specific take on the whole Time travel thing, and if you enjoy and understand the story, then a 2nd play through is a must, imo.
After finishing the game, the time travel stuff is sooooooo much better in QB than it was in Bioshock Infinite. I really hope they make another QB cause the story is pretty interesting and damn I loved the characters Jack, Paul, Will, Beth and even Liam who was a boss in the show parts.
@Ballroompirate: Yeah I enjoyed Bio Infinite but I didn't feel compelled to replay it as much as QB. Also, I remember the story in Bioshock being a bit too confusing at times. QB story has a better balance overall I felt in terms of complexity and accessibility.
I liked the cast a lot, that guy Liam does action well.
Just finished the game last night:
16 hours 30 minutes (rank 13 of 30 friends that played it)
84% of Collectibles
94% of game complete (requires all collectible to be 100%
The game was just down right fun. Shawn Ashmore did a great job as Jack Joyce, and it would be hard to picture anyone else doing his character in the game. I love how much research Remedy did that went into the time machine aspect of the game. The attention to detail is untouched by most. The small things like the subway train near the end was just sick. They did a great job introducing each character without the need of stretching them out. The cool thing is, the TV show put a much better viewpoint of each character. I felt more connected to each person because of the TV show, as it does a better job conveying emotion than the typical CGI cut scenes. The 4 TV episodes (22 minutes each) were pure quality and fit seamlessly into the game. I kept waiting for each episode, and I kept waiting for the next act of gameplay. It was a perfect mix, with substantially more gameplay than TV watching. The TV shows consisted of 1 hour and 22 minutes of the 16 hours and 30 minutes playing this game.
Some collectibles were well hidden, while others were glaringly wide open for the taking. I think they could have put a little more effort into making the collectibles a tad more difficult to find, but I know that we needed to read all the intel for the most in depth story possible, so I understand their reasoning. I really like the character Charlie. He was fun.
Gameplay was through the roof. All of the time powers were NEVER getting old. I mean, I wish I could time dash in real life. It was so satisfying using the powers to defeat enemies vs. just using cover and shooting. The powers were plentiful, and upgrading them with chronos was fun to do. The controls were smooth, the "vision" was well implemented, there was no shortage of weapons or ammo. The game play had puzzles, time bending physics, live deformation, gun battle and more. The environment was a nice change from most of the shooters out there, but at times I felt (similar to Alan Wake) that they repeated some areas too much (the pool for example).
Graphically, the game is one of the best this gen. That said, it has some of the worst this gen in some areas. I think the lighting was hosed (of course after I finished the game, the patch comes out). The lighting messed with the face of the characters, and of course with the time bending, there was more clipping than usual.
The game was a refreshing change form all the other milked franchises out there these days. It is indeed, as of now at least, my game of the year.
Make sure you stay and watch AFTER the credits for a hint of what may come.
This gets a 9/10 from me. I am docking the score for the small graphical hitches, reused assets, stuttering that happened a couple times.
Some gameplay shots I took throughout the game:
