Only it is superior..... Please explain to me how it isn't. It looks better with a simple patch, it runs alot better by default, and it has more content.

Add in the stable frame rate, resolution mod, and extra content, the game is still undeniably superior and will likely continue to improve as Durante (the ugy who did the resolution mod) and other modders begin to iron the graphical kinks out.

Right now the only thing that bothers me is the hideous back drops like in Firelink Shrine.

only with a keyboard. use a controller and it's fine.

Lol, my friend just bought the game on PC, and he had to have me bring an extra PS3 controller over for him to even play it. The keyboard and mouse controls are so bad, the mouse isn't even usable. The mouse literally is not compatible with the game. All mouse clicks and camera movements are mapped to keyboard inputs, it's just ridiculous how bad the controls are on PC unless you have a controller to play with.

Not only that, he couldn't even take the game online because he wasn't an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. A PC game that requires you to have a gold membership to play online :lol:.

Everything about the game was terrible from a port standpoint. It's obvious that the developers have never worked with PC. I will not be surprised if this game averages a score of 4/10 on Gamerankings.

The default keyboard and mouse controllers on PC only use the keyboard. The mouse is incompatible.... lol.... You use 2 hands on the keyboard to play the game on PC without a gamepad. I laughed out loud when I saw my friend playing it. We drove to my house and got a PS3 controller for him. Normally, you'd have things mapped to the mouse buttons and control the camera with the mouse, but this is such a botched port job that they couldn't even make the mouse compatible with the game.

They're getting an extra expansion already! I would take that expansion over a bigger resolution and better framerate anyday. PC gamers are just spoiled brats. Those great graphics they brag about spoiled them badly... I would love for this version to fail on PC so that Namco shows the middle finger to PC gamers in the next iteration of the souls series.
