The problem is that the game is fixed now. The mod was out on release day the game looks and plays great. Yet you people are still crying.You guys asked for a console only game to be ported and now cry that it plays better with a controller?

This is a fix completely outside of From Software. It's well known that not everybody mods their games.

The game has major issues from the port. Hell, not even changing the button prompts is just laziness. Wanting a port and wanting a broken port are two completely different things. Don't act like they are one and the same.

Theres nothing wrong with people asking for more, especially when poor effort has been made. If they didnt ask or complain then we would all be stuck playing what people like you consider to be "OK", the standard set by console gamers such as yourself would be all anyone has to look forward to. Personally I would like to see progression and I know that in wanting just that, im not with the minority. People asking for more or showing their discontent with poor effort is what is needed to edge developers into delivering more advanced and higher quality games.

Most of the people crying here have not even played the game they are just bashing and complaing because they can. the people that actually are playing the game like myslef, can see this is way over blown. I installed the rez fix day1 and plugged in a controller. I dont have any issues, sure i could come on here and cry all day that from should have fixed the rez themselves, but I dont give a damn someone else did and it was free so whats the difference , other then to complain over and over on the forums about a game you havent played. I haven't played the game yet for the PC, yet I know the major issues, along with the fixes brought on by the mod.

Criticism for a poor product is absolutely acceptable. From brought a fantastic game over, but with some incredibly poor port decisions.

I am sure this :broken argument will be used when the game is pirated to hell and back as a excuse, because piriating a crappy port is ok they deserve it, right. I feel sorry for From they should have never ported this game it is a wasted effort, I bet the sales will be low, yet it will be piriated 5 million times and pc gamers will get to play it for free.

Nope, i'm not. Being self-entitled would simply mean that they expect it to come over. They petitioned -- which is a legitimate way to bring attention to the developer -- in order for them to bring a game onto their system. Did they specifically petition for a "broken" version?

Yes, it does. How about a non-rushed port? I understand the lack of changing texture resolutions and things like that, but basic control options for the most widely used "controller" on the system, the KB/M? That's kind of expected.

I didn't mean a literal broken game. It's clear the game works. It's also clear that the game is of a drastically lower quality than many PC ports.

Erm, console users consistently criticize the lack of a "want" to install mods. The fact that the fix for the issues, came from a third-party is quite embarassing.

The best recent example of a port done right is Sleeping Dogs. The second you move or press anything on a pad, the game switches everything to show pad input, move the mouse and it automatically changes to mkb.

The mod corrects certain issues, but others stick around. Still a solid game on PC, from what I hear.
