@dimebag667: its why those battlepass strategy kept many playing. Many of us paid battlepass for guaranteed 14 lootbox, 2 legendary lootbox and some seasonal legendary skin. They keep the player retention by making sure the battlepass rewards just enough for you to purchase next battlepass.

Everyone is leaving the game because there's nothing to do nor chase for. Its a barebones fps. Competition is too damn high for such a barebones fps to survive. Accept it and move on. You will feel better in a week or two.

No matter what i or somebody else says, you will simply ignore all the negatives... the same way you ignored Twitch views, as if the viewership is not at least a bit indicative of the interest people have toward the game. And in the case of big/popular first person shooters, twitch viewership is actually very accurate at showing us if the game is dying or gaining popularity. Back in 2015 when Halo 5 came out, i bet you were saying the same stuff, and that game was dead in no time, which you could very clearly see through Twitch.
There's no need to point out the scores, its pointless. The game is dying at a quicker rate than H5, and that grapple hook with a 30fps animation ain't gonna save this 9/10 game🤷♂️
343i failed to deliver four times in a row (MCC included). They're incapable of creating video games. They cannot handle the biggest franchise MS has, be it because their engine is complete garbage, and developing content is too time consuming or because the talent is simply not there (and lets be real, when it comes to story telling, the talent is not there and was never there).
Its not what you want to hear, i know, but give it two more months, and you will not be able to damage control the game when it will be forgotten by literally everyone.
Release a well made BR, and not only will it pick up in popularity, but MS will be printing money from skins. But for that you need a well built BR that isn't just copy/pasting its competition, and 343i is simply not up to the task.

Just this one because you can see it. It's what happen to sea if thief. Going from one halo to the next it looks worse not better.
