RIP Halo Infinite

Didn't Halo 3, have like 600k people playing it, years after release? on the X360, when the gaming market as a whole was much smaller than today.... 6000 is beyond dead, and the game released a couple of months ago.

I predicted 8-10k viewers on twitch 3-4 weeks after launch. Was spot on🤷‍♂️

Twitch viewers don't equate to what people are playing. It's what 8 year old kids like watching adults play.

Doesn't equate to, but does correlate to. If you look at google trends, you will see twitch viewership, amount of players on steam and google trends ALL drop around the same time. So nice try pretending that Twitch is not an accurate measurement for shooters, but you're wrong, and you have to live with that.

Let that sink in for a second sealionact. And lets be real, Infinite got clapped. Nobody cares about the game. Its doing worse than Halo 5🤭

Twitch? Seriously? If we’re judging games by Twitch viewing figures, which Sony game is doing better than Halo? I mean, even Sea of Thieves dwarfs anything put out by Sony….I take you see those games as utter failures then?

I mean, not one game by Sony has 100 viewers. Ouch.

@sealionact: You're an incredibly delusional lemming. And twitch is a great measurment for shooters, because many of those who play it, also spend a bunch of time on twitch. Other genres/games are not as accurate.

All in all, what i am trying to say is that Halo Infinite is dead and you need to accept that. Died in 2 months. What a tragedy.

There’s a bigger issue though. Sony doesn’t have a single big mp game, and hasn’t really had one ever. Most cows are fine with this, and assure us that Sony provide them with quality story driven sp games which is what they want. Returnal is a $70 Indie in disguise. You're comparing solo titles that you complete once or twice to a multiplayer shooter that has a chance of being popular for over 10 years. Nono. You mentioned Sony singleplayer titles, and their view count on twitch. What MS exclusive singleplayer games that do better? Literally nothing because MS has no games. But it is true that Sony has no multiplayer shooters, the ones that do best on Twitch. Now that Bungie is owned by Sony, this will change in the future. It is strange that MS does have the likes of Gears 5 and Infinite, and they're both epic failures on Twitch, tho. Very disappointing.

That is very true. In Apex Legend u buy the 1000 coin to unlock the battlepass. It will reward a total of 1200 coin as you max the battlepass and you get rewards like skins and banner. The bad thingabout the model is they sell extremely expensive limited skin like 1 skin is usually around 2000 coin or around $20. May entices some impulsive buyers.

Apex Battlepass grind though is the worst. I hate it.

That's why it's confirmed that Halo is the greatest franchise out of Playstation-XBox space. Playstation fanboys talk about Halo more than Xbox fanboys do.
