[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="fresherfish"] What? Did you only read the first sentence of my post? WOW

It is not a bold-faced lie. I used hyperbole in order to convey my point. It is a well-worn literary device. I never said every 360 dies, nor was I attempting to make a statement as fact. I was actually making a joke about the 360s poor design.
However, you took it to be a stab at something you evidently love, and if you cannot handle some well-founded criticism, I would look into why you have such an issue with that.
I love the 360, but I can also see clearly that there are issues that are not user error that are causing these Red Rings, and like it or not, MS is not fixing them, they are glossing them over (look at their "fix" in the Elite for proof of what I am saying).
Did you skip over the part where I admitted the the 360's high failure rate. Also, you don't make distorted statements about something you love just to "convey a point".
Its HYPERBOLE! Did you sleep through English class? It has nothing to do with distortion, as I did not distort anything. If you want proof I have and love my 360, look up my posting history. Or look up my gamer tag. Heck, I don't care.
I know I love my system, but I can admit it has major issues that MS is looking the other way about, and that, as a consumer who has spent his money on an investment, makes me angry. If I wouldn't have known better, and I would have forgone the extended warranty, you better believe I would be much more vocal about it. As such, I lost two and a half weeks I could have had gaming due to poor system design.
I might love the system, but I won't defent the company when it is clearly an issue that they are unwilling to look into and fix, and as such, I will keep continuing my 360's extended warranty until the next Xbox comes out, and I would suggest you do the same.Â
