^Think he means Sony exclusive. Just my two cents, as long as a franchise stays on one company's platform (and future platforms for re-releases), then it is still an exclusive. So Shadows of the Colossus would still be an exclusive as you would have to have a Sony system to play it (legally anyway), whereas the Metal Gear Solid series can be played on PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 (Legacy collection), and the PC (MGSV). So MGS is not an exclusive anymore.

The remastered version of Shadow of the Collossus for PS4 is only on the PS4 and no other console and so is exclusive to the PS4.

Also the Halo 2 remaster on MCC can ONLY be played on Xbox One and therefore that version of the game is considered exclusive to that platform.

On topic: I loved the 2013 TR reboot but Rise bored me to tears and from the reviews I've seen on youtube Shadow looks more like Rise than the original reboot which means I won't touch it till it goes way down in price.

What?? Um, no. I'm clearly saying a game is exclusive if it's for a particular platform aka PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendos. You're just adding in a brand in front of it if it's on a different, yet, same platform(PlayStation 3 and 4). I'm calling those games exclusives like Persona 5. Sure, you can just call it a Sony exclusive if you want. That doesn't narrow it down to the PlayStation platform though... It could be on Vita but isn't. Just like Halo 5 is an Xbox One exclusive, not a MS exclusive, because it can't be played on anything other than an Xbox(Not Windows). SoC was recoded I thought? Either way, I call it an exclusive... Or a PlayStation exclusive for anal people. Or go as far as saying SoC remake is a PS4 exclusive. I think just sticking with "exclusive" is easier, but like you said, you have no problem with people calling it a Sony exclusive or MS exclusive... Which is fine too I guess.

I don't need to re-evaluate anything you need to learn what the word exclusive actually means. If the best version of a game can only be played on one platform it is exclusive to that platform that is simple inarguable fact and it applies both to SotC remaster on PS4 and Halo 2 MCC version on Xbox One.

It doesn't matter if SotC was on every platform imaginable last gen or the gen before that the definitive version of the game is exclusive to the PS4.

You're talking about a multiplat made for several platforms I'm talking about a remaster of a game which is exclusive to Sony platforms anyway and yes the version you keep bleating on about is completely exclusive to ONE platform only i.e. PS4.

@realgirl: I'm not sure what point both of you are trying to make, but you can call Halo 5 an Xbox One exclusive and you wouldn't be wrong. If it ever gets ported to Windows, then you can call it a MS exclusive. As for the base Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X, they're all still Xbox Ones... Each version plays a bit different (the S has HDR) but are the exact same game with different textures, resolution and sometimes frame rate. But any game released on Xbox One is playable on all 3 platforms so you can call any game released for Xbox One only, an Xbox One exclusive. Same on the PlayStation side. I'm not sure where any confusion comes in here.

Halo 5 is exclusive to Xbox One and the definitive 'best' version is exclusive to Xbox One X just as Red Dead Redemption in 4K is exclusive to Xbox One X.

Forza 5 had a great deal of advertising here,in fact gamespot had an exclusive footage and the game got 9,so if you are going to cry fault now you know better.

Gamespot isn't the only reviewer who gave the game a 9.

It wasn't the review alone i think he called the game trash or other similar comment,he call it like it was Kaine and lynch was a shitty game,the developer put pressure on gamespot,and he was fire.

Some reviews are pay for,but like i already told someone Forza 5 got a 9 from gamespot,when it average 79 on Meta,and gamespot did have an exclusive reveal with actual gameplay,the theory of the buyout review is a double edge sword,i don't think sony can outspent MS in advertising money unless ms allows it,and that would also imply that MS can buy reviews,yet they are not getting great score for some reason.

This is why i dont trust gamespot. Tr scored 84/100and gamespot gave it a 6. This is my every1 says gamespot is biased heavily towards sony

Would have got a point more from me if it didn't feel so similar to rise. Saying that it's difficult to change these games too much.

This place's score are not reliable. With that said, I liked the first reboot but it seemed very thin on plot. Rise of the Tomb Raider has a demo I tried that made me decide to wait for it on sale for under $10 on psn. I wouldn't be surprised if a new one from a different studio wasn't very good.

No they are not and you can't run xbox games on PC or PC games on xbox.

They are the same game the part missing is the routines that detect the hardware being run. You do know the Xbox version doesn't need that because the hardware is all the same.

LMAO no, its you trying to rewrite SW. More than one platform means multiplatform. It doesn't matter who owns it. MSFT owns Windows and their first party games like FH4 will REQUIRE that OS to play. It doesn't mean its exclusive by SW rules.

Multiplats can still be evidence of that point. I know you cows will never believe it. Take Prey for instance. 79/100 on Meta gut a 6/10 gamespot. The one thing I can count on like a clock is PS exclusives will match the meta average or Exceed more often than not at Gamespot.

Like the national medium with an agenda, TC choices to praise this game with an average score when everwhere else it has been getting above average. SMH
