Didn't ign just have a reviewer steel a YouTubers review and make it he's own. ?
IGN haven't been relevant for years.
Did GS force the reviewer to give Spider-Man a good review because of the heavy amount of Spider-Man advertising on GS over the last month.
They did fire a reviewer before for giving a heavily advertised game a low score. Not saying this game would get one but that has happened.
Hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..
Forza 5 had a great deal of advertising here,in fact gamespot had an exclusive footage and the game got 9,so if you are going to cry fault now you know better.
Gamespot isn't the only reviewer who gave the game a 9.
And lol at @boycie conspiracy..hahahahaa

yeah IGN has had it's controversies. But so has GS, just ask Jeff Gerstmann.
And to be fair IGN dealt with the whole plagiarism brouhaha very quickly and professionally.
Hahahahaaa so now the reviewer gave it a 9 to not be fire by gamespot..Hahahahahaaaaa
My god you lemmings loss it.

All review sites are full of shit.
the bigger they are, the less integrity they have and more prone to corruption they are likely to be.
If you have spent tens of thousands of pounds advertising your game with IGN/Gamespot, you will expect (and likely receive) a favourable review, not a shite one.
I can't remember the details, but i'm sure Gamespot fired a reviewer after he slammed a game that had a great deal of advertisement money spent by the publisher with GS. @tormentos will be able to remember the full story.
The older and wiser you become, the more you will realise that the best games reviewer in the world is oneself.
It wasn't the review alone i think he called the game trash or other similar comment,he call it like it was Kaine and lynch was a shitty game, the developer put pressure on gamespot, and he was fire.
Some reviews are pay for,but like i already told someone Forza 5 got a 9 from gamespot, when it average 79 on Meta, and gamespot did have an exclusive reveal with actual gameplay, the theory of the buyout review is a double edge sword,i don't think sony can outspent MS in advertising money unless ms allows it,and that would also imply that MS can buy reviews, yet they are not getting great score for some reason.

They also had ads for the game.

Doesn't change the fact they reviewed this higher than Spider-Man.
Doesn't change the fact that we are on gamespot and lemmings here use to cry about how on gamespot only gamespot scores matter.
